Why did the WT change their stance on taking blood fractions?

if memory servces me, it was about 1978 when the questions from readers stated that blood fractions were a conscience matter.

i remember being slightly shocked, and made the statement to my husband that it seems like taking a fraction however small would be akin to giving a "pinch of incense to the emporor.

" i would never change my stance, or so i stated.

Should not JW's be consuming kosher killed animals? I eat beef. Its loaded with blood when I rinse it off after taking it out of its wrapping from the supermarket. Let it sit on a plate, that red juice on the plate is blood.

(or whatever you beleive in of course) every one put down there main reasons, along with reasonable facts and backup as to why.. .

The "NESS" guys are very anti "intelligent design". They are fun to listen to. Itunes has links to their podcasts.

I think many or most individuals that visit this forum are skeptics. Thats just my opinion.

I used to be attacked by demons just as I was going to sleep at night. Sometimes in the morning while waking up, I would be attacked. The demons would hold me down in my bed. Then I found out about "sleep paralysis"...

how would that make you feel if we were the only pleasant accident in inhospitable universe, if such 'miracle' newer happened elsewhere in our universe?

if there are no other alien civilizations that could rescue us or ?show us the way?

muslims daily, in the arab world, call for the death to christians and the americans.

even looking at some muslim websites, you will see jesus shown to be evil and the christian faith to be a terrible group of people.

so with this, why does minor comments on them and cartoons about their founder make them so extreme?

There was a balance of power between Shiites and Sunni's when Sadam was ruling over Iraq. That balance has been lost. The Sunni's are less radical, more secular.

i'm confused about the whole 'patriotic' do's & don'ts.

what is the real take on it....is it wrong to have anything patriotic?

is it wrong to say the 'pledge of allegiance'?

M.J., I was not speaking to Agnostics like you, I was speaking to Christains! :) Jesus did set an example, one that I guess you are not willing to follow. Do not deceive yourself into thinking that the road is broad and spacious! Spend your time on earth monitoring the scores of sports teams like Notre Dame, and you will be judged accordingly.

If you are a Christain, do what you believe Jesus would do. Can you see Jesus saying the pledge of allegiance? If so, follow him.

My jw girlfriend left me and went off to another state and got disfellowshipped. She came back to my congregation and I was really happy to see her again, and flirted with her with eye contact, but did not talk to her, because I was programmed not to. For me, seeing her again was pretty intense, and I hoped she would get reintstated. 10 years later, after I drifted away, I went to see her on a few occasions, and made up for it.... :-) Turns out, we didn't get along any better than we did when we were in our teens.
