  Does anyone here celebrate holidays? Why?

  i didn't originally celebrate anything, but when my oldest son started school i decided that it was unfair to put him through what i went through in school.

  i have to admit that i am loving the holidays, even though some of that old mindset tries to make me feel guilty.

  we focus on what the holidays mean to us as a family and enjoying time together.

  in invisible things, Some of these beings are cheering for you and others wanting to destroy you. They have nothing ever to say after they think about it besides " Its in your heart or I just know " yeah yeah yeah !!!

  Why Do So Many DF'd End In Some Sort Of Trouble?

  most ex-jw's df/da that i know end up living a dangerous life.

  some get into drugs, prostitution, gangsterism,etc.

  as a result they prove the jw theory that says "whoever leaves jehovah's organisation won't make it" right.. it's difficult for me to say this, but it seems like jw's are partly right on this one.. why do most ex-dubs end up in a predicament of some sort?

  If anything it makes them a stronger person, One who thinks for themselves and does not have the stress of measuring up to all the goof balls running around with Bibles and service reports in their hands waiting for someone to notice.

  When someone leaves the Cult nobody is alloud to talk to them, So they are just assuming that people are having a hard time.

  Guess what ? Life is hard period. Guess what also? Life is much easier without the Cult on your shoulders.

  The kids who leave want to play catchup and sometimes try to hard and fall, When the normal kids have experianced most of the hurdles and pleasures of being a teenager and are in more of a slower transition to adult life which in turn helps them along.

  Witness kids have nobody to help them and most can't relate to kids their own age out in the normal world so they find the leftovers that are idiots and they become their teachers. You may go crazy for boobs too if you have never see them before, same goes for booze,and drugs.

  A Criminals place should be far from any library of any kind. How about we send them all to the Mexican border to build the Great Wall of Texas ?

  Or help our new President build that high speed railway he is dreaming about ?, I think that would cut the cost a little.

  How many inmates who get law degrees really help others anyway ? Im sure law firms everywhere are itching to get their hands on some of that cream of the crop. ( yeah right!! )

  I can sum it up in two words on how this citizen feels about this topic. CHAIN GANG for those who are in for life instead of a library card, How about some training in the trades for those who are getting out someday ? It would be a lost cause to teach them to read when most can barely talk.

  Maybe then they can add to society in some way instead of their greedy search to try and free themselves for crimes THEY DID. Something tells me that most who study law in prison ARE GUILTY and should be swinging a pick and sledgehammer instead of sporting reading glasses.

  The more prisons the better, But think about it , If you knew that you would be on a chain gang for years if you got caught doing what your criminal mind is thinking of, Your under developed brain may actually think twise.

  I have always stuggled with the notion that there is an invisable being who knows what millions of people are thinking of simultaiously.

  Also that there are bad Angles looking to do us harm. ( paranoid )

  I now believe that Religion has been rubbing schoulders with Governments all along and have used the fear of being excluded from all the fringe

  benefits of believing in this invisable being to the promotion of both. The last few years since I left the Cult have been an eye opener.

  I am open to all things now. I have recently discovered the practice of Qigong and its power.

  This is something I wouldn't of even given a chance to a few years ago, ( again all part of the control )It comes from SATAN !!!!

  I think I wanted to have faith in an all knowing being who could help me get into that new world. ( fringe benefits )

  Now I am ok with there being nothing at all, and to live life however I wish as long as it isn't hurting anybody.

  When you die you die, so get over it and once you accept this you will grow and learn more then ever before.

  Some may say "Oh, How sad it is to not have any hope " No ! It is sad to live in fear and not live life to its fullest.

  Oh lighten up Hittman. With a name like that it's amazing your such a sissy. Lets see this kid in a real debate with even someone his own age and see how he does when he hasn't been coached by his Parents on what to say and how to say it.

  The title suggests that he is so much a little fagot that Witness kids would beat him up instead of inviting him to the memorial. Get it ?

  Left or Right, This kid can probably win a spelling bee or two, but forget about relating to his peers.

  i don't get this...my mum pioneered for 25 years and in the last few years she at 69 is claiming to be anionted and taking emblems.....well you should see the back stabbing!
