a french association of jw's victim will informed the media about the child abuse and the silentlambs march in october, 1.. this is the first official declaration of an association fighting's cult in france on child abuse among jw.

Yes, a 'bit of fluff' means a 'small nothing'. You want to say, a stuffed animal, a stuffed lamb or a toy stuffed animal or a toy stuffed lamb.
I concur that France has really had a leading role in taking on the WTS. I've been following them a long time.
I respect and support France for many reasons but right now, for the way in which they care for, respect and love their children and their citizens.
We'll be proud and happy to walk with you in this.

questions to consider after reading the article:.
since the jws claim to adhere strictly to bible guidelines and they make certain rules or interpretations of the scriptures, should the survivors who were baptized face a judicial committee for putting their lives and the lives of others at risk?
after all, they got on a boat that basically was being operated illegally (too many passengers and not enough life jackets).
I would guess they were counting on Divine protection and their own 'special' relationship with the big guy instead of some silly, petty laws written for 'the little people'.
Why did the article mention the Kingdom Hall and that they were JWs?
I think it's nothing more than because it described something about why they were all there together. What they had in common that brought them together for this event.
I don't think it's anything more than that.

i'm sure everyone else is excited about the silentlambs march and hope that all those taking part have a trouble free journey, some good weather for it (that's the 'brit' in me talking) and most of all enjoy meeting up and doing something so positive.
we would love to have been there but unfortunately things didn't work out but we will be there in spirit like a great many others.
the march will really mark a turning point in jw history as for the first time the victims are not just lone voices fighting on their own but thanks largely to bill they now have some fantastic support, are much more organised and effective and have accomplished things and continue to deliver a clear message to the media which is being heard around the world.

Regarding her 'free will'.
She could never have looked into 'just leaving'. She would not be permitted to know anyone who ever left. Or even to find out any single thing about them.
She would be pressured to assume that Satan had taken them over completely and might her, too, if she got too inquisitive about them.
She would not be permitted to even begin to ASK anything about it.
The 'free will' of JWs is inhibited even to the extent that they are not permitted to even THINK, or to even ask questions - about anything.
It's gone in the same direction as their right to 'freedom of speech'. It's gone, US Constitution, US Laws, discerning Judges or not. JWs don't have any.
If you wish to claim your rights under the Constitution, you abandon your rights to be a JW. And that's the whole story.
It's an 'all or nothing' thing and to even lean in the direction where you might hear something contrary is just about as good as dead, as far as their concerned.
She needs to know this.

awake of 10-8-02 brings out a number of things that good christians would avoid due to god's view of how precious a gift , life is.
here's some of the things on the list....no bullfighting, no running of the bulls,no motorcycle stuntmen, no climbing of skyscrapers without safety equipment, no steep snowboarding,bungee jumping,parachuting from airplanes with another strapped to you, no climbing ice-covered cliffs, no sky surfing,no base jumping, no rock climbing,no car-surfing,no climbing mt.
everest, no thrill-seeking.....any that do such things show contempt for the marvelous gift of life......did i forget anything else??
How about not sending people out to try to make converts in an area that is a hotbed of criminal behavior, at the threshold of war, in the midst of religious and political and economic conflict, filled with a christian-hating sentiment, JWs in particular, and that is presently known around the world for kidnapping and beheading people.
Or is that what we're supposed to be saving everybody's life FOR? So they can be available to do that.

Love is not possible within a community where tattling has a higher priority.
Love = freedom and responsibility

hope you all had a super marvellous weekend just gone, spent some of my time saturday and sunday, just floating quietly on my boat on the quiet and serenely beautiful waters of the helford river's creeks, stunningly beautiful it was, wow!!
came into work this morning, monday, as bright as a button, though straightaway received some bad news about a young lady from a fellow co-worker enabler at self direction community project.
Having lived it myself, I honestly don't know which comes first: Cold, cruel, selfish, unfeeling, heartless, incompetent and horrible parents or the Watchtower world that creates and/or encourages them or 'lures' and deceives them into their behavior.
No matter.
You can survive them both.
One day, when you're feeling up to it, share your favorite pictures with us.
Tell us all about them. All the details.
We will listen and enjoy them and share your love for them more than they EVER could. And they will live in your heart and ours forever when you tell us about them. And no one can ever destroy that..
They never deserved to have them. Or you.
But God made you. Not your parents. And He meant for you to be here.
In their lives, you were but a beautiful blessing that they squandered in the twink of an eye. They will have to answer for that one day.
Already you have touched my heart. And already you have lifted my spirits to know that I was not alone. You're not either.
And neither of us are destined to be YET ANOTHER JW suicide.
Life is too rich.
And, for them, all the walls are falling down.
