  being a jehovah witness, did you feel obliged to have a 4 door car?

  once i bought a 2 door car, and everyone was looking at me as if i commited a crime.

  i then reasoned with them saying, "didn't jesus send his deciples by groups of 2?".

  My pioneer mother counsled my wife and myself on buying a 2 door car. How are you going to take anyone out in service in that. My point exactly!!

  Talking in public

  was it natural for you to speak in public, either from door to door, or making talks at the hall.

  for some, it was a real scarry thing to speak in front of a group.

  was that a big load off your back when you quit going to the meetings?

  Giving the talks were no problem. Preparing for them wwas hell. My wife would trip out on me getting out my talk the same day I was to give it. Then getting a G on preparation.

  I was in that backroom so much they shouldn't even call it the 2nd school. They should call it Diamonds room. I was there numerous times as a teen and several times as an adult. Just couldn't seem get that JW thing right. Still can't.

  hubby had a visit from one of the overseers yesterday.

  he just told me today that there will be no sunday meeting this week.

  seems all the overseers are having a big meeting at their kingdom hall....it will take up both sides of the hall.

  Normally this would be for an Elders meeting. If your hall is being used you usually go to another congregation. The MS will handle the meeting.

  Wasted Time

  do you feel as if you spend too much time on the computer.

  only 10 years old, and it changed the life style of many.

  spending so much time on the computer surfing here and there, do you feel as if your actually are wasting your precious time?

  Yes I'm addicted to my computer and to this site. My daughter told me this morning the only thing I work out with is my hand. She's only nine and I hope she was talking about all the time I spend on the computer and not the other thing. If so I'm going to have to start locking that bathroom door!!!!

  ( michael jackson and family as well as the williams sisters have been charecterized as being "devout").

  This is so sad. After years of pretending to be a witness. I decided to buckle down and do it right. I was on the fast track being groomed to be a MS. The more I started hanging out with the MS and Elders the more BS I saw. Then I started questioning alot of things then I read COC and my devoutness (if there is such a word) went right out the window.

  So to answer your question. Yes I was devout then I was out.
