  This post started with a poor young man sharing his story, and some of you gotta make his 1 little word into a big freakin deal.

  Good lord, you sound like the elders! NOW let’s get back to the story here!

  Running Russian - I was baptized when I was 12, and that my friend was the first mistake of my life. No one should be pressured to be baptized (or ALLOWED TO) because it's such a young age to make a life long decision. Anyway, I'm sorry to hear what you went thru, and I'm glad you "got out", unfortunately the hard way, but in all I think you will realize how much things are different than they are "portrayed" to be in the real world.

  Since the day I "dissappeared" I have wanted me to show up to the KH with a rainbow flag, bottle of Vodka, and a pack of cigarets; and camp out on the front lawn while they have their meeting. I bet that would get a response LOL

Some of my cousins that used to be on there (who are active JW's) dissappeared right after the recent convention...   yesterday morning was my bookstudy.

  but i had a runway show to do that night (i think i have mentioned before that i have been pursuing modeling) and so of course i had to skip out.

  my parents go to a differ bookstudy than me but in the same hall and so they were able to notice that i was not there.

  Hey GirlFriend.~ Well question for ya, are you baptized? Publisher, ext???

  Obviously there has been some 1/1 coaching sessions from the elders on this one. C'mon it would take a lot of convincing from some brainwashing freak to convince me to throw one of my kids out (if i had any) even if they commited a crime. Let alone, lied about skipping a meeting.

  So here they have put you in this situation, kicked you out, and the only place you have to turn is a b/f... Then they will go back and tell the whole congregation (gossip - which they claim they do none of) "OH MY GOD SISTER PIONEER GOSSIP, DID YOU KNOW SISTER BRAINWASHED'S DAUGHTER IS LIVING WITH HER WORLDY BOYFRIEND"

  So my point was, who gives a fuck what they say, I got so sick and tired of their shit... And of course the elders will try hunting you down. So my advice, shun your parents the way they are going to shun you. Give them a taste of their own medicine... The only way you will ever be on their "good side" is to be at every single meeting, out in service every day, night, weekend,and happy hour, knocking on doors till your knuckles bleed! 45 minutes to work is not bad, I used to drive 1hr 15mins one way, cuz brother control freak said i had to live out in the middle of no where to "help out"... Take the bus if you can, don't give up a career, they want you to fail, so they can go back and tell all the kids, Look what happens when you leave the truth, you fail and have a miserable life.

  Not sure where you live, but in the US, if the elders harass you, you can file restraining orders, ext to keep them away.

  Hope some of this helps (sorry if I vented a little). You know, I thought my po dunk congregation was just the only one that was fucked up, so I moved to the bigger city, and dissapeared and just fell inactive... But so as my reading has opened my eyes, there is a very widespread " epidemic" ! GET AWAY while you can, nows your chance, and don't be scared! The world is not as doom and gloom as they portray it! But use caution, doesn't mean there are not wicked people in the world.

  I disassociated myself today....June 8, 2006

  i wrote a letter to some personal friends in the congregation and enclosed the letter from the un.

  i also wrote a short disassociation letter to four elders and enclosed the un letter as well.

  i delivered them to the mailboxes and also mailed a couple.

  Sounds like a fun adventure!

  Although I would have been to scared to hand deliver them! But I do love the suspense of a certified letter, lol! Freaks the people opening them out!

  Hey - Don't fret! They make you feel like you have signed your death wish. Which I have since learned it's a tottaly different world than it's "portrayed" to be...

  Our DC is this weekend also, and I had contimplated going Sunday, until I found this website, now learning that it's not just my congregation that was off their rocker, it's many!

  the july 1st watchtower is one that i'm sorely tempted to kick into oblivion....yes it irritated me greatly.....mind control at its bluntest!.

  young jws are being encouraged to stop dilly dallying around and get dunked!!!!.

  Oh do I ever remember this lecture...

  Let's see, I was 12 and it was the "fad" at the congregation, so I did it, cuz the girl I liked did... It's kind of like having a 12 year old sign a loan for a house IT'S NOT LEGAL, NOR IS IT A RESPONSIBLE THING TO DO!

  So your thinking, ok I do this and they get off of my back, not at all, YOUR HOOKED NOW!

  Then when the minasterial servant crap came knocking at my door (that I must be doing something bad, since I didn't want to take the responsibility), try not wanting to bury my face in books all freakin day & night and never have a life, not that I did anyway.

  I was smart, I escaped, had my "file" sent to another congregation where no one knew me, attended a few meetings here and there at the new congregation, and then dissapeared off the face of the earth. I had to get out soon, or it would have gotten worse, Like Josh's story and coming out of the closet.

  oh i could go on forever, gotta get to bed.

  Probably get it on together, since neither are allowed to date at all (unless they are seeking marriage...

  I've seen some hot Morman boys, LOL :P

  I recommend this movie I watched called "Latter Days"... Story about a gay Morman boy, sad what they do to him. Very Similar to JW's.
