i'm curious as to what happened to you in school.. were you sent to the library during festivities, allowed to stay home, or allowed to participate?

(Can't remember the middle part).......Wow.....
Do they still require kids to refuse to do this?

Wow,.....You're bringing up other memories..... the flag salute. I remember that as very stressful. I think I put my hand over my heart and mouthed the words to avoid the additional stress (In later years but not when I was very young). It is making me nauseous just thinking about it.....I have blocked it out for years.
It seems as young kids we were under constant stress, at school and then having to perform for parents at the meetings, or selling magazines on the weekends.
What a life we led as kids.

Isn't it funny we were not allowed to just read a book, but had to do homework? It was excruciating as I remember, but it might just be from our time. I wonder what happened during the 80's and 90's.
I remember the hatred of our Principal. She was a monster.

Mine: mid 1960's to mid 70's. In the library at all costs, or pulled from school. Our Principal hated JW's. She made sure we were miserable if we were in that library. There were 3 of us. Her name was Mrs. Anderson, one of the ugliest females you would ever want to come in contact with.
She was into physical punishment, and had a man's voice.

One of my sons was in a Choir for Orlando and did a Christmas concert long ago...my first time in a church...the entire experience was breath taking.

It's funny so many of us were allowed to watch Charlie Brown's Christmas. It's one of my best memories. That and Frosty the Snowman was also allowed.
Other than that....nothing. No Music, no memories other than being sent to the library during festivities.
We all seem to have so little to go on from our childhood.

that's also why i am asking these questions in a way in which only you would understand, but i do not know how to find you otherwise.. .
I don't care how you sell it. If you are serious about the anointed....they won't be posting here.
Even though I'm out, there were several very old family members that considered themselves of the anointed. And you know what, I believed them. Their behavior seemed to be angelic, they were the dearest people you would ever want to meet.
When I was 10, my cousin had an 85 year old grandma, who was part of the anointed. She helped us pick raspberries, and made rhubarb pies. ....She had no attitude, and was the sweetest woman you would ever want to meet. Her mother is now in her 90's
I had an uncle of the same, he reminds me of Coco. ....I won't go into details of his history, but he was thrown out during the big 80's fiasco in Brooklyn, or what ever year that was.
Who is to say he still is not part of the anointed....certainly not me, or any human member.
I guess I haven't let go of the 144,000 idea, ....being raised in this runs deep, but I will say, I don't believe in any newbies.
The circus will eventually play out.

Zid, you've got me....I have a telescope, its clear tonight and it is computer generated. (In otherwords it will focus to what ever I want to look at.)
Where do I point this thing?
