JW Grammar is...
by jw07 in*we are all from different cultural and educational backgrounds, we all experience different circumstances in life, and i don't mean to offend anyone on this forum in any way.*.
with that said here are my observations, and i want to know what you have observed.. in my experience i have noticed a trend: zealous witnessestend to exhibit the worst grammar when compared to non-witnesses!.
i want you to think back, or check it out for yourself if you haven't noticed it.. on social networks: compare comments on anything by jws (especially the uber-zealous ones) with those of your atheist or other religiously affiliated friends.

Why elders' wives are such gossipers...
by Calebs Airplane ini have a theory as to why elders' wives gossip so much.
i believe a big part of it has to do with the conversation running dry (between themselves and their elder husbands) after so many years of marriage.
since they don't get to spend too much "quality time" together (because of the elder husband's hamster wheel schedule), when they do have some intimate time alone, the elder's wives will invaribly attempt to engage their husbands in any kind of interchange.

The only way an elders wife can gossip is if she got the info from her gossipy elder husband.
The elders are the initial big mouths, they are the ones that start it.
Many elders in my circut could not keep their mouths shut, they LOVED spreading juicy gossip. They would make jokes about it, frequently saying things like, "I wont tell you their name, just their initials" and then they would laugh.
They found people with emotional/mental issues particularly intertaining and fun to makes jokes about them.

I am exhausted emotionally.
by PaintedToeNail ini have been reading ashley judd's 'all things bitter and sweet' autobiography, and it has exhausted me.
she paints a picture of neglect and abuse from early childhood on.
as i sat reading, i realised i was identifying with so much of what she wrote.. why, when having an emotional breakdown as a teenager, major obsessive compulsive disorder, obvious depression symptoms, would you refuse to get medical help for your child?

From the rest you have described, your instincts were correct.
The JW's have never been a kid friendly religions. The only thing they have ever done to cater to children is write a couple of books and finally create a nursing room at assemblies so mothers dont have to feed their babies in a toilet.
According to the society parents are always good and always right, children are always bad and nothing but a burden.
The JWs are excellent at rasing children with no feeling of self worth, that is what the society has taught them to do.
You deserved so much more....

marshals from san diego are looking for 57 year old frederick cecil mclean, a suspect on the agencys top 15 most wanted list.. in 2005, mclean was charged with four counts of child molestation and one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. the u.s. marshals office says mclean sexual assaulted dozens children between the age of 7 and 12 over the course of about 20 years.. however, marshals say the search for mclean has since gone to cold case status.

I live near Eugene.
I have been putting wanted posters of this fine brother in laundry mats for several years now.
Most of them have gone to Portland Oregon and nearby, but several years ago I put many of them in Eugene and the surrounding area.
I always either remove the mags left by JWs or put warning stickers on them. So I am sure the sisters/brothers who drops them off are aware of this man.
Several JWs in the Eugene area have got to be aware of this person.

I bet the society hates hearing about all the money the rank&file are spending elsewhere.
Next assembly they will come down HARD about only doing society approved activites/restaurants/hotels and how they should be putting that money to better use by giving it to jehovah.
