Hilarious quote tonight to one of my "ex" friends...
by bluesbreaker59 inso tonight, i have one of my buddies over that is a fader, and we're sitting around eating some smoked pork and bbq beans that i made over the weekend.
one of our "conditional friends" called me and asked if he could pick up his mail, that he had forwarded to my house.
you see our former friend has a credit card and cell phone that he doesn't want his dub parents knowing about, so he had it forwarded to my place.

Clergy Mandatory Reporting States

this may have been brought up in another post but i haven't found it.
my understanding is that the elders are told to report abuse to the authorities only when it is mandated by state law requiring clergy to report.

They make no printed claim.
If you ask them, they will generally claim that they always report. I even had a CO tell me that they always report and they always have.
But the rule is, the elders are suppose to call Bethal, bethal will instruct them what to do based upon whether they are in a required reporting state or not. But of course, none of this is in print.

New Car sales. Ahhhhhhhh New Car Salesmen, treat women like second class citizens. Please don't be like that. I have been told to bring my husband back on 2 different occasions. BIG MISTAKE. They lost a sale.
Big D this is so true.
Several times I have been treated as though I wasn't the one with the money, or the one making the decision, and they didn't want to waste their time on me. Like HL said, the man my show up on the weekend to seal the deal, but often it's because the woman has allready done all the shopping and decision making.
If you cater to women, you will do great!

Tatiana, I cannot comprehend the amount of pain you must be in now. I am so sorry, this has happened to you and your loved ones.
I have always been against the practice of babies sleeping in adults beds, it's just not safe. I will be even more vocal about it now. I have another friend that had the same horrible accident happen to her small baby.
Your daughter did everything right, she's a good Mom.

I always wondered where all those virgins came form too.
It seems to me that they don't view women as actual human beings, just objects that Allah will mass produce for the chosen few.
And what the hell is up with the perpetual virgin thing? I can understand wanting them to be a virgin when you got them. But to be constant virgins? Why is sex with a virgin considered the ultimate?

his wife was very uninterested in bedroom activity, and he just happend to know of some ladies in the hall with a similar problem with their husbands.

Im not sorry to disagree with you sphere. oompa doesnt know jack shyte for sure. He is going off second hand knowledge that he got from a man who is now dead.
I agree with you here, and under the circumstances that Oompa described, I think he should just butt out.
However if it were true, I believe an adult has that right to know about there parentage. The child should not have to pay for there parents indiscretion. I can see where everyone would like to just pretend it never happened, but it did, and part of the repercussions of those actions is that someday you need to fess up to the kid.
And as someone else mentioned, maybe the kid does know. but just doesn't advertise it. I'm hoping here that one of the parents stepped up and did the right thing when the kid was old enough.
But no, if I were Oompa's shoes, I would keep my mouth shut.
(hoping that someday someone tells me that I was switched at birth, and my parents aren't really my parents.

It may be unfair for the child (sound like he's grown by now) to not know the truth.
Sorry to disagree with ya'll, but I believe a person has the right to know who his parents are.
I would want to know, if someone out there knew something like that about me, I would want to know.
I'm talking about just the kid here, once he becomes an adult, it's no one else's bizness.
