ever slipped on the stripper?
had someone track through your wax?
lost control of your buffer?
The cops came and arrested him, but cautioned us not to press charges, because of the possible retribution to us and our families.
WTF!

Passed out from the propane fumes?
I Bro in my old hall passed out from fumes while buffing, I understood it to be the chemicals he was using, not the propane, unfortunately he was working alone and he died leaving a young family.
i sometimes think the standard christian view of things is this.. mankind, like the people in new orleans after hurricane katrina, are stranded waiting on aid and god flys over and sees them on the roof waving and holding up signs, but, he can't really do as much as he would like to.. he has some stopgap aid here and there for a few, but, mostly everybody just has to do the best they can to hang on.. like federal aid or the national guard---jesus is coming!
hang on!
jesus is coming!.
Oh you just hate god and don't want to live by his principles!
Your just being negative!
(those are my best JW comebacks, sorry, I know their pathetic)
did anyone have to cancel a vacation trip because it was on co visit week?
i still don't get why the co visit was as if god himself was in town.
is it kinda like if the pope were to visit with catholics?.
Did you ever witness a "green handshake"?
I would always just stick the money in a "thank you" card and give it to him.
take this 72 yes/no question test to find out.. http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp.
I'm an INTJ which is suppose to be rare, but there seem to be a lot of us on this forum.
i understand that only the twenty million jws will survive this imminent armageddon.
since the worlds population is about seven billion, this means that each jw man, woman and youth will be left to locate and bury 350 corpses killed at armageddon.. .
these survivors will spend the rest of the following one thousand years teaching the wtss kingdom to resurrected people who previously never had the opportunity.
if 99.9% of a class fails who's fault is it? It's hard to believe that this quantity of executions is a success story.
brilliant!
please suggest an answer to this conversation stopper: i sent the first statement and he responded with the 2nd statement:.
equivocation:.
the bible forbids "taking in" blood.
Abstain from blood _ end of story
How you take it in doesn’t matter – blood is blood , whether it’s thru mouth or into vein
And yet anyone who has eaten meat, has eaten blood.
And so his diffinition of "obstaining" does not apply here.
please feel free to contribute any experience you may have on dishonest tricks jws use to put their fallacious, moronic agenda across.
i have not touched upon 'red herrings' and 'circular arguments' below:.
the best way to ge through to a jw is to pray for him.
But where else will you go?
hey everyone.
another idea came to me tonight while discussing the pew forum survey about how only 37% of jehovah's witnesses remain in the religion from childhood.
the recent watchtower article where it says the majority of people who leave the religion do so in order to commit sin was brought up predictably.
Name: sphere
Gender: Female
Age: 48
How were you introduced to Jehovah's Witnesses: Born in, foourth generation
How did you leave the religion: Left of my own free will
What Age did you leave?: 34
Were you Baptized: Yes
What General reason did you leave the religion: I left because I had come to realize that the society was disfunctioanl and was hurting me and my family. I still believed it was the truth, and I could not understand why gods chosen people were so disfunctional, I just knew that they were.
How did you feel about the doctrine before leaving: I believed for the most part, I never believed that only JW's would make it throught the big A.
Did your feelings about the doctrine effect the way you left?: Yes,if I had not still been a believer when i left, it would have been a whole lot easier and clear cut.
If you were disfellowshipped for sin, did your feelings on the doctrine effect you sinning in the first place? DNA
Did you research the religion's teachings after leaving? Yes, heavily.
What are your feelings on the doctrine of the religion since leaving? They are grossly and totally wrong
How do you feel about the organization since leaving?:They are evil
How do you feel about the people since leaving?: They're misguided but great people overall, with a few evil ones thrown in the mix.
How do you feel about discussing your time as a Jehovah's Witness?: It's part of me I'll discuss it if it comes up
