That was a wild ride!
I still have a lot to learn, but yeah, that was wild.

I just read an article that said someone typed a T for trillion, instead of a B fo billion....... oops
And they are pointing the finger at Citibank.
Now I don't know much about stocks, but that one is really hard to buy.
Good thing they didn't type a Z

i got a koala in dominican republic eating an apple.
But yeah, it's a math trick that gets you to the number 4 which gets you to D, and then after that, their just isn't that many countries that start with a D.
It's a cool trick
i have posted on here a couple of times that i am reading alan rogerson's excellent book entitled "millions now living will never die.".
this book was published in 1969. notice what mr. rogerson (a non-jw) observed in his research.. .

modern tom-toms
Tom toms aren't modern, they weren't even modern back in 1964.
Native americans used them for who knows how long.
Sorry, I know I'm nit picking, it's just another example of how clueless they are.
i hated answering up!
hated it with a passion!
i would spend the whole study working out my answer, getting it world perfect in my head, as i put my hand up i would be shaking, and afterwards shaking too.. then there would always be sister perfect elderette who would answer up without turning a hair and give a sermon of her own, usualy using the point i had just made as if i hadn't made it in the right way and therefore it was up to her to correct it.. strangly enough, i loved "answering up" in the classroom, never had any trouble.... a joy or pain?
I quit answering in the 80's when they began insisting that we answer strictly from the paragraph.
I remember one night at book study, I was called on and got about 6 words out when the conductor cut me off and asked me to only comment from the paragraph. I think that was the last time i commented. ( btw I was not a long winded answerer, I kept things short and concise)
I refused to parrot info that was just read out load, it was just to insulting to my intelligence.
what is munchausen by proxy syndrome?.
one of the most harmful forms of child abuse, munchausen by proxy syndrome was named after baron von munchausen, an eighteenth-century german dignitary known for telling outlandish stories.
a parent will induce illness or injury in their own child and then take the victim in to the hospital to be seen as the heroic savior.. typically, the perpetrator feels satisfied when he or she has the attention and sympathy of doctors, nurses, and others who come into contact with him or her and the child.. because the parent or caregiver appears to be so caring and attentive, often no one suspects any wrongdoing.. .

God gave us the illness, and then he gives us the cure so we can love him.
yeah, that's what Terry is talking about.
You are admiting he gave us the illness.
And that he will ( not yet) give us the cure.
It's called Munchausen syndrome.

I didn't eat any forbidden fruit, what do I have to fess up to?
You've never done anything that goes against Jesus' teaching? Nothing?
Then I guess I'm not speaking to you.
But I sure have. Thankfully, faith in Jesus gives me confidence that my sins are forgiven, and I can go to God despite the wedge that I sometimes put between us.
If you had read my intire post you would have seen that i admit i am imperfect.
Actually, you have completely ignored what this thread is about.
We are aware of what christions believe, very aware, we are saying it makes no sense, your only reply is to reiterate that same old blather. As though it's new information that we have not heard and are not commenting on right now.

Putting that into perspective today: Say you've done something wrong to your spouse or parent or any loved one; there is then a wedge between you (guilty conscience, fear of being caught, etc). To remove that wedge, you usually have to fess up and hope for forgiveness from the wronged party. This is the wedge between God and mankind -because we all continue to do things against his instruction. But instead of leaving us to our separation from God, God is reconciling us to Him through Jesus.

Now think about it, if god couldn't get his two "perfect" creations to listen to his instructions, they why on earth does he expect it from "imperfect" humans, that makes no sense.
If god is displeased with his creation, who does he have to blame but himself?
One time my pre schooler was trying to draw a picture, she was very unhappy with it, no matter how hard she tried she could not create the picture she wanted to create, she finally threw her crayons on the ground and yelled "stupid crayons".
That's just how "god" behaves.

Yep, I must agree.
After all, who required that a ransom must be paid?
Who required that the ransom must be a blood sacrifice?
Who required thousand of animals to be butchered to build up to the main event, a human sacrifice!
