having actually managed to survive through the entire 3 grueling days of the dc after attending the friday session today (hit sat and sun last weekend) i was initially going to make a criticism of some of the parts & points at the dc.

my brother and my mom are trying to find a song to dance to at his wedding.

we've pulled up a lot of lists of common songs and none of them are really what they're looking for.

i just came up with the song below as a suggestion, which i think is the best option so far, but i thought i'd see if any of our music connoisseurs could come up with some other suggestions.

i have read some very interesting and thought provoking articles on the subject sites.

having never been a jw, what is the feeling of a 'run of the mill' witness towards these sites sympathetic towards the general doctrines of the wts, but calling for some major reforms?.

A run of the mill witness wouldn't dare call for major reforms, they would be disfellowshipped and shunned for it. Everything has to come from the top down, rather than the other way around.

i keep on hearing you repeat that people here are "hate driven"... i don't agree... when a person realizes that they've been duped by men, and that's all the gb and the fads are, just men.... it hurts.

but i don't see very many people here as hate driven.

then you started a post that accused us of being hate filled, you gave no examples that i could see, but you later stated that you were going to research the truth on your own... have you done that in the last two days, because i'm pretty sure your post was two days ago?

In my case when i first started posting here i viewed every critical comment as judgemental in some way. This in turn made me defensive and want to lash out. When you're surrounded my people in the org who are judgemental it is hard to realise that some here are not hate filled but merely expressing an opinion.
