well, i've been procrastinating this for some time now and taken my counsel from you fine people here but i finally made what will be my last journey ever to the kingdom hall today and posted my disassociation letter into the postbox.

What we have to realise is that in the time of Rutherford marxism what not only having an influence in Russia but also in the rest of the world. The communist party had support throughout many countries. Marxist philosophy is at the route of the trade unions that came about at that time in the West as well as the East.
It is no wonder therefore that Rutherford may have taken these ideas and applied them to the JW society.

don't mean to waffle on but, it was our dc today...... now i've missed them before....as i no longer atend..... but the weird thing was i was driving through wolverhampton (uk) today(sunday)....and low and behold....the ring road was jam packed.... what was going on i wondered...... cars everwhere...... when suddenly i realised......cars full of people wearing suits and long dresses....even wearing badges!!
!......i even spotted some cars with their car park vouchers on the window!!!!
it was the dc!!!!.

I was with a friend....also an ex-witness....
He was saying he caught the tram into Wolverhampton yesterday(saturday), as he normally does, smoking his cigarette, and everywhere he looked they wore badges!!!!
Oh no....to think that I once wore my badge proudly.....so to identify myself....so to look at another badge wearer and say without a word,'oh yes your another witness aren't you'
Sorry to waffle on, but I do miss the annual event of eyeing up the opposite sex........

i am a policitcal conservative, at least a fiscal conservative and sociel moderate.
i support the death penalty, but i agree that our judicial system needs to overhaul how wwe treat criminals to achieve better rehabilitation results.
and of course, withhold the death penalty in cases where there could be doubt.. in mcveigh's case, i believe that he deserves the death penalty.
One only has to look at the Peoples Republic of China to see what uncivilized executions are about.
Sorry, I didn't know there was such thing as a civilised execution....
