This is the most amazing cd she's ever done....Almost like a hybrid of the previous two records. Say what you want about the silly rapping in "american life", but this album is a masterpiece.

Geezer JW plows car into crowd of 13 in front of Stanley Theater Assy. Hall
by joe_from_kokomo inthis story just out in all major newspapers and tv stations across the country.
apparently, a 78-year-old witness attending the circuit assembly meeting at the stanley theater in new jersey lost control of his car and plowed into a crowd of 13 fellow witnesses, seriously injuring 3 of them.. here is the link to just one instance of this story, on the uk guardian:.

thats true, i doubt the watchtower will pay out anything. on the flipside, if this had happened at a catholic, lutheran, or any other church gathering, i doubt they would pay out. It was an unfortunate situation. I'm sure the people who were injured will be helped out by their respective congregations. I'm pretty much as anti JW as you can be without being a cult member (as I think alot of XJW's are) but come on. Some of these comments are ridiculous.

symbols of christian salvation.. never mind that jesus clearly said "he that feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has everlasting life, and i shall resurrect.
him on the last day" (john 6:54) - in a plain reference to those who hoped in the general resurrection.. never mind that jesus is called the "one mediator between god and man" ( 1 tim.2:5).

New mindset of JW's.......?
by integ ini feel that the "true" feelings of a great percentage of jw's today is more along the lines of hoping that the society will somehow self destruct and they can be free, and that they feel trapped in this religion.
many jw's have confided with me...albeit in guarded terms, that they want out...but they can't do anything because of family and peer pressure.
it is a very guarded society, under a collective dictatorship regime.

If that was the plan for the God of Jehovah's Witnesses (destroying all evil people) then fine, I agree with you.
But we both know that that is not what JW's teach. They teach that ALL people who aren't JW's at the end will be destroyed, evil or not. I really fail to see your point.

This is perhaps the most idiotic statement I've ever read on this board. I sometimes have to travel around the country for my job....does that mean I'm not a good husband to my pregnant wife? Give me a break. David Bloom was one of the top reporters for NBC, I'm sure his wife and family accepted the different risks involved. Unless you have inside info from Bloom's family or NBC, your comments about this situation are highly idiotic and offensive.
