  Apostate Literature

  is it possible after researching the net on jw beliefs, background and reading apostate information that a jw would still research the bible and find watchtower teachings as truth?

  Our waitress @ Philly Phest was a JW!!!

  yes, she was - incredible huh?.

  the first philly phest was a great success.

  5 adults and 2 children all enjoyed a fine dining experience in princeton on saturday night.

  sounds like fun guys - i'm really sorry my wife and I couldn't make it. I was stuck at my moms house where her holier than thou friends were making rude comments about my too long for JW rules hair....

  sorry we never hooked up biggs, i hope your situation turns out OK....i'll be giving badwillie my contact information in Auburn tomorrow, if you ever need an outlet to vent...

  Ya'll dont believe in God?

  i have to ask this although i have a feeling i dont really want to read the responses but anyway.

  i talked to several people here today who dont believe there is a god at all.

  this is disturbing!

  you can believe whatever you want to believe, just because some people on this board don't believe in god shouldn't really matter to you. the whole idea of a relationship with god is a personal thing, and I'm not sure why you care so much about people not believing.

  as for me, i'm undecided right now. i believe in records, cd's, and coffee.

  i have recently had the misofortune of being involved in the revealing of a child molestation case.

  my wife's niece recently came forward about being molested approximately 5 years ago by someone holding responsibilities in her congregation.

  my in-laws found out the same day as we did.

  okay.. i apologize if this is too last minute for everyone who is interested in coming, but it appears that this saturday evening is a good time (for most of you) to have our first annual philly phest.. holler if you are interested in attending and your name is not on the list below.

  however, if your name is on the list below, please confirm if you can or cannot attend.

  flower has been kind enough to offer herself in setting the reservations at a seafood restaurant.

  we can't make it saturday night, my mom is having a sort of open house at her home to say goodbye to my wife and I.....then we are heading down to pollyesthers one last time late that night. man, this sucks! i hope it goes good for everybody...

  my wife and i attended our last meeting last night.

  it wasn't so bad, since it was bookstudy and they threw a little party for us afterwards - we are moving to wa from pa next week.

  we will never set foot in a kingdom hall again - feels great.

  Best wishes in Auburn - don't envy you the traffic - hate driving over there.

  seemed about the same as the philadelphia area when we were out there about a year ago....we are used to sitting in some traffic everyday...
