  Latest JW tract

  i came home to find the latest jw tract on my door.

  it was titled "the end of false religion is near" what a catchy title, never heard that one before.

  i started breezing through it and came across a subtitle called "false religion... tolerates immoral sex" they actually have the nerve to say, and this is an exact quote " even churches that condemn immoralality have tolerated religious leaders who have sexually abused children"

  i am listening to sinead o'connor and one song really struck a cord with me.

  i just finished 'crisis of conscience" and i have a lot of thoughts in my head about the governing body, organization, etc.

  this song today made me think of the organization.sinead o'connor.

  "Witlesses", "JDumbs", other labels.. How do you feel about them?

  i've commented before that the watchtower goes out of its way to label groups of people it doesn't want you to like -- "worldly people", "apostates", "christendom".

  there are scores of these labels.. people in general use them too: "spick", "n*gger", "trailer trash".

  once we allow ourselves to refer to people by a label, we automatically change them from an individual to a member of a group.

  sorry if there are those apostates here that do this, but you were often the butt of a joke and nothing taken serious.

  i personally loved the ones who wore paper bags over their head, as they were often people still afraid of getting in trouble.

  it is not like a political rally with people saying "make love, not war.

  note: the catholic molestation cases have mostly been evaluated under employment law theories not the tort of misrepresentation or under non-fraud related tort claims]; fails to address important legal considerations such as standing and statute of limitations; and finally and most importantly, the essay fails to address in any meaningful way the inevitable constitutional arguments that would be raised by opposing (watchtower) counsel.

  supreme court justices do not have the time to browse through law journals and the implication that they would be interested in an essay is even more deceptive.

  the society does not cite a 1960 study as evidence that blood transfusions are hazardous.. here is the actual quotation in context:.

  I thought the big news was going to make an impact greater than the Dateline story...??? No active JW who is a true believer is going to care, sorry. They will just view it as more persecution from Satan and the world and will feel vindicated. This is quite a let down.

  It's snowing in Seattle!!

  very unusual for december 1, but it is really coming down.

  i have to pick up my granddaughter after school at 3 and it's almost noon now.

  This was funny, I showed up for work 1/2 an hour early, the traffic on 167 was pretty easy, the only slightly tough part was managing the hill down from our house - and almost every one of my employees called out because of the weather? I couldn't believe it, it was what we call a FLURRY in Philadelphia, or even SPRINGTIME!!! Too funny
