  ok, sunnygal inspired this one.. today i wondered what would happen if i called an old dub friend.

  he's an elder.

  i met him in jr. high as he was in my metalshop class and i mentioned i was a witness.

  Father's Day Today

  my daughters are the sweetest girls alive.. they came over for father,s day and were so loving and careing.

  i sure am fortunate to have them as my children.

  i'm so happy that they came over for dinner.

  Were you allowed to take sex education in school, when raised a JW?

  when i was in my freshman year, they had us take a half semester of sex education and another one was drivers education.

  the sex education class taught good stuff for a young teen to know, especially if they were in families who were kind of lax about teaching what needed to be know.

  as an example, one girl in our class actually asked if you could get pregnant the first time and another asked if the pulling out method was as good as a condom.

  i wasn't sure how much is allowed on the comical side, but after reading some other posts i see that i am not the only wise ass here.. well, tonight my nba team plays game 5 of catch up and get ahead of the dallas maverages!

  i know this to be completely true spiritually, because of the fact that there is only one sin out there that a person can commit that is a sin "against the flesh" of the body.

  i started a thread not long ago about how - if my mum had to choose between me (my life) or the society what would she choose.

  i got the expected response.. today i took it a step further, i said.

  personally even though i claim to be a christian i would not make you die for my beliefs.

  if you can acccurately disprove the mathematics in the following i will be at the local kingdom hall first thing in the morning and ask the elders if i may rejoin them in worship.. here is some information i have compiled regarding what the watchtower has printed in regards to the babylonian kings and how the lengths of their reigns can be calculated to arrive at the date of the destruction of jerusalem by nebuchadnezzar.

  if you're like me you've probably remained totally clueless whenever the subject of the chronology leading to back 607 b.c.

  as the date for the destruction of jerusalem by nebuchadnezzar comes up.
