JW's making a comeback?
Well, I know some couples in the "TRUTH", that are specifically avoiding having children....atleast in this, "system".
I totally forgot that. 1995 was almost 12 years ago, so many couples realized that they had time to
have children in "this system of things." That makes those children 11 years old and slightly less. That's prime time for baptizing them nowadays. They used to wait, but these kids will start getting
baptized (if not already) and there could be some positive numbers for the next 2 years.
Excellent point NotaNess and OTWO. I always thought it was just me who noticed that more jws were having children starting in the late '90s or so. It would make sense that as these approach baptism age, that at least some are getting dunked today.

Wanderer,
I don't know if I have a turning "point" per se, more like several 30 degree turns that ended up in a 180 in 2005. The first of which was learning of the 1975 debacle. My family had been "in" since '78 and I never heard a damn thing about this until around 1991 or so. It was quite shocking to me, actually. The 1995 generation change bothered me somewhat, but more just because the new explanation was, well, unexplainable. I felt the same way about the blood policy changes in 2000. I nearly left in '01, but didn't have the balls to until '05.

however, is there anything that you learned from your jehovahs witness past that .
you appreciate even today?.
Sure, I could get into the whole quitting smoking and drugs thing, like everyone else, but the fact still remains, that most people that develop those habits during their younger years, usually only do so because of family dysfunction. In my case, that was certainly true. The jws only added greatly to that dysfunction. In a healthy family environment, (i.e., like my wife's), none of the 5 children are smokers nor drug users, they are also not jws, and would have never been drawn to such an organization. Dysfunction breeds dysfunction. End of story.

is there anyway of predicting where any babies might be so i can be as far away as possible from them?.

Exit is best. If I don't get it, I tend to prefer a seat in back, as it's typically easier to find overhead space for my laptop. Damn wheelie "carry-ons".

my wife left me 5 years ago when i left the jehovah's witnesses.
she got remarried saturday to one of "our" old jehovah's witness friends jay .
jay's wife, judy died 6 months ago of cancer.
The x starts dating a guy a week after his wife is in the ground. Talk about rebound.
This type of wierdness is very common in the jws. I heard of several similar stories, (including my ex's mother), that were similar.

let us exalt jehovah's name together.
" (psalm 34:3) what a fine example for us to follow!does matthew 26:30 say anything about singing "jehovahs praises"?.

Next week says you can’t enjoy life unless you fear God…fear the WTS that is.
The realization of that lie is why I left the WTS.
