a little background, i faded in 2007 and have been out ever since.
i started studying at 18 and have no jw realitives.
i'm returing because my life is heading in the wrong direction.
I also enjoyed being a witness, hundreds of freinds,live forever in paradise, good social life.... but once i realized that the watchtower was a lie i could not be a preacher of lies, break up families and assist in the death
of innocent people due to another lie of " no blood transfusion".

this is and odd topic but there is a part of me that really misses feeling that i knew more about the world than 99.9% of the people.
i spent so many years in school being the odd person because of religion.
i embraced it to some extent.
You are not the only one that wants to know the meaning of life...it's a question that cannot be answered and it has plaqued us from the beginning of time.
We are born as everything else in the universe and then we die. End of matter and i am happy with that knowledge.

I was in for 32 year and served for 24years as an elder...once you realize it's not the truth it's unlikely that you can continue teaching from the stage
or delivering a message door to door. In due time slowly you will find a way to get out and enjoy life without the watchtower lies.
I call them lies because i know the GB knows that the doctrines are all lies.
i cannot think of one article written for jehovah's witnesses that deals with this important issue.. your retirement.. .
the governing body makes sure everyone looks after the gb's needs.
the gb will be moving to their new lakeside estate in 3 years.. what about everyone else below the 8 gb and their wives???.
They are concerned about your retirement or even more so your death and to make sure you remember them in your will.

a jw friend of mine (who was one of my besties until i told him i didn't believe jw religion anymore) used to live in austria and for a while in the 70's was in the same congregation as losch.
they used to spend some time together in the ministry.
my jw friend tells me that he and losch used to often talk about how they believed the wt was wrong about certain interpretations of the bible, for example, how at the time the wt taught that the mustard tree used by jesus in an illustration represented an evil kingdom, and losch and friend didn't think that was right.
He does not believe all the crap of the watchtower......i met him in 2002 in TN and he came acrooss as a jerk and power hungry individual that loves the attention and worship given to him by
dummies of the rank and files. I used to be one of them for 32 years.

lately i am being treated more and more as if i were disfellowshipped, which i am not.
do any of you know of anything, in writing, that is encouraging members to curtail any and all association with former members who are no longer active?.
I left in 2007. i'm not DF but the consequences are almost the same.
All the so called friends and brothers will avoid you especially if they know you don't believe anymore, they consider you bad association and a danger to their faith.
My daughter has not talked to me since 2009.

they have to do something to counteract all the negative stuff.
I have been in Southern California for the last 8 years and even though i notice that many KH parking lot are packed for their meetings, so far i have not been contacted or see many witnesses knocking on doors...just wondering how they are getting their time.
I doubt if the GB will allow internet witnessing, they are paronoid about apostates and the influence they might have on the JW.
i realized this about myself yesterday.
i was noticing how on a thread i thought about commenting on, i held back out of a fear i still have of speaking out against the governing body.
i have been disrespectful to the god of the bible and openly proclaimed i do not think he exists.
You can speak with the elders and trash Jehovah and the bible anytime you want and show that you have doubts, don't dare say too many negative things about the GB.
You can trash the Pope and any other religious leader but the GB is untouchable.
