  ive currently been dating a jw girl for aboit 10 months now.

  i met her at college and eventually we started going out.

  at first is was difficult with me it took her a while to open up to me especially with holding hands and kissing.

  the speaker that gave our public talk today said that the men on the governing body were very smart.

  he said that albert schroeder could speak corny greek, and that frederick franz was a "roads caller.

  " i know what corny greek is, but i am not familiar with what a "roads caller" is.

  after a long day, what helps you relax and unwind?.

  for me it's having a strawberry margarita.. it's re-freshing and it puts me in a good mood.

  No celebrating mothers day with my mom

  if anyone dared bring her flowers, cooked her dinner or gave her a card they would have gotten an earful about how she doesn't celebrate and the jw take on her entire life.. my brother who has never been a jw and looks and is tattooed as much as richie rich never fails to send her flowers and call.

  guaranteed she is bitching about it.. my other brother is dead.

  she can't be gracious and accept anything from her remaining children.

  I have seen my mother once in the past 10 years, and spoken to her exactly.....0 times.

  What To Enjoy About Field Service?

  field service.

  you get up at 4:30 or 5:00 in the morning to make it to the kingdumb hell at 5:30 in the morning (since that feb 2004 kingdumb misery, they want everyone to meet for street work at this time).

  a quick discussion of the text, misapplying it to fit the misery, and then prayer and we're off.

  Do You Miss Not Being With Your JW Family & Friends?

  personally, i keep very little contact with any of my witness family except my mom.

  i don't miss the conditional friends or family, really.

  but i do know that many here are devastated by their being abandoned.

  Now I try to avoid the necessary gatherings, like funerals. Can't stand being around them.

  it seems clear that witnesses have inflated and distorted figures on earthquakes since 1914 in order to bolster their belief in the end times.

  their claim that diseases are on the increase also seems a bit incredible when you consider all the medical advances and extension in life-expectancy in the last century.

  as for famines, well they are terrible when they still happen, but history shows that this is one problem humans are starting to get to grips with compared with previous centuries.
