we can't agree on a name for our soon to be born baby boy.. i love the name tristen.

he hates it.. he wants a basic name like bobby, tony, etc.. is there a name that sounds like tristen but isn't?.

give me some ideas if you can.

well, all i can say is wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they have been preparing everyone by way on tv and radio on the sexual abuse in the jw religion.

they had a small piece on the 6 o'clock news with a small interview with bill bowen.

As you know, I have been working killer hours here lately. But I raced home in order to catch the ten o'clock news. I made it just in time. We were quite impressed. They devoted much more time to the issue than we expected.

Freemasons

i am posting this thread because i've seen some people ask "who are the freemasons?

back a few years ago, i had never heard of the masons before.. then, i had some masons involved in my life, so i did a lot of research into them (at the library, on the internet, in books, testimony by former masons, etc.)..

i will start a thread soon and post my beliefs and opinions on freemasonry.. here are a few things i have found in my research.. in a "well-ordered" masonic lodge, masons are allowed to believe in any god they want to, except jesus christ.. in fact, in a "well-ordered" masonic lodge, the name jesus christ should not even be mentioned.. that makes one wonder, doesn't it?.

i wish them peace.

at the end of the conversation i did not feel we were in agreement.

for similar reasons i believe ray has not supported the issue of child abuse being a problem in the organization to media and by personal comments to persons who ask him privately about this.

i have been searching for a job since march, and finally got one waiting tables at a pool hall.

they fired me today due to "pushing" someone that i asked to excuse me.

then i was told that my "attitude" was a reason.

is to act together as a united group.

i know to many of us that smacks of jwism but it's not really, it's just common sense.. take for example the colonial world in north america prior to the revolution.

there were thirteen colonies, each with their own problems, their own goals and needs.
