  Do you buy into conspiracy theories?

  i guess since leaving the witnesses, i have become willing to listen to more things.

  mainly because i learned in life, that if the religion you were raised to live and die for is wrong, and deceptive, then couldn't that be said of government and science?

  so with this in mind, of the ones i am going to list below.

  I doubt he killed Kennedy.

  I agree. If he shot at all, he would have probaby hit the "innocent bystander" if anything.

  my spouse and I own several weapons and shot them all the time.

  And I'm by no means an expert, (though I can put a round in a fleas ass at two hundred meters) but given the fact that my Dad was a rifle instructor in WW2, and that I have been shooting since I was two, I'm a Range Officer, and have shot in competition, AND that I have hung out with some FANTASTIC shots in my life, I think I might at least know some of the right questions to ask.

  The reason I keep harping on that small rifle scope is the fact that a small scope has a very small field of view. Now considering that rifles do tend to recoil, not to mention that he had to work the bolt, you are going to lose sight of the target as the rifle fires. The small scope is going to make it very hard to re-acquire the target. But Oswald supposedly brought the rifle down out of recoil, worked the bolt, and instantly found the moving target....three times in a row!

  Plus nobody has said anything about why this GREAT shot would use a piece of crap rifle like the Carcano...a rifle your lucky doesn't blow up in your face with the first shot.

  And lets not forget all the eye witness accounts the Warren Commission ignored. There was even some military men that were willing to SWEAR that bullets passed by them from the Grassy Knol. And I can tell you from personal experience that a rifle bullet passing by your ear is hard to mistake. It makes a CRACK not bang, as the super-sonic wave passes you.

  It is fun but when you disprove something again and again and again and people just say nope not listening! That's when it stops being fun!

  So the Warren Commission got it right huh.

  Kennedy: Not sure yet, though trajectory of bullets does indicate it came form Oswald's riffle. Whether he was a pawn in someone else's hand - possible?

  Just curious, do you believe the "magic bullet" theory?

  I call bullshit! There was an 70 year old man on the history Chanel who did it just a few months ago! It was an easy shot and he had almost 3 seconds per shot! For someone who scored "expert" on the military training course it would be CAKE! The story that Oswald was a bad shot is a lie put out there but the conspiracy nuts.

  News to me! Did he use an old Carcano bolt action with the same tiny scope with limited field of view that Oswald supposedly used? Did he make the three rapid shots? Did he then run down several flights of stairs and calmly drink a coke - in just a few moments?

  I call Bullshit if he did this.

  Was Kennedy really killed by a lone gun man?

  No way in hell. At one time there was even a competition to see if someone could do what he supposedly did with the rifle and scope they said he used. People from all over the country and perhaps the world competed, and nobody was able to do it. (Make hits with three rapid shots on a laterally moving target, with a cheap Carcano rifle and small scope. Then run down several flights of stairs to be seen calmly drinking a coke just seconds later.)

  Many things don't make sense, but in a nutshell here are two of the biggest. One....Oswald would have HAD to have been one of, if not the best rifleman in the world to make the shots he made. (Who would have known a great rifle and scope when he saw it.) TWO...would have the greatest rifleman/shot in the world have picked the very WORST rifle and scope combination for this job? I don't think so.

  Either that, or he was the luckest bastard ever born. And I tend to not believe in luck.

  You betcha! From giving blood, to voting, and a lot in between. I also feel that getting a degree will help me help others.

  And I'm doing all of the above while in "fade" mode.

  Much is made of 'freedom of speech' but just try shouting "FIRE" in a crowded place sometime!

  You are FREE to shout fire in a crowded theator whenever you want to. However, society has said that you will pay a price if there is NOT a fire.
