The resurrection of dead pets

would it be nice if pets also got resurrected to live with their owners once more?

we can try teaching them all the biblical truths but of course they will not understand anything.

however their faithful christian owners may want to see them again.

On one hand I understand the teaching that Jesus didn't die for animals, but also they didn't inherit Adamic sin. So where does that leave them?

i would imagine that if a jw admitted posting here over 10,000 times, that it could be difficult to be re-instated....lmao.

I think it would be easier to get reinstated in another KH. I've noticed that if you want to be reinstated or receive privleges, if you move to a new cong. it is much easier. Even though the old KH would actually be the ones reinstating you it seems to be it would be easier if you were associated with a new KH.

I know of one case here in western NC where a pioneer/elder and his wife were doing the sub CO work for years. Then they were recommended for fulltime CO work. So they sold their beautiful home he resigned from a very lucrative job and prepared to go in the CO work. A few months later they were told they were too old for to be a fulltime CO, he was only in early 50s!!!!!!!!! So they work homeless and jobless, he had to start all over at 50 something CRAZY!!!!

My Mom's First Birthday!!!!

i threw my mom a surprise birthday party this year at a nice restaraunt with all her closest friends and family.

she hasn't had a birthday party since she was 7 (she turned 47 today).

she was in the borg for 25 years and this was the first time in 25 years she got to celebrate.

Sounds like the pioneers at my KH. They would take free stuff on "boil a kid day". They stop service to go to store openings to get a free hot dog. One put here name in at some business to get a free turkey for thanksgiving. It's much easier than say...ummmmm......getting a job.

Materialised demons... why not?

acctualy i don't believe in demons anymore.

but the recent bible teach study caused me to wonder... why does the society think that the demons are not capable of making bodies for themselves anymore, there was no support scripture so i looked it up on the wt library:.

in 1953 there was a questions from readers about why they posess people and animals... they simply stated without any proof that they are incapable of making bodies anymore.. then in 1955 they offer a scripture.. *** w55 10/1 p. 594 par.

What I've never gotten about the "story" was....if the demons could materialize into men, because they wanted to have sex with the women on the earth...Why couldn't they just as easily made themselves women to have sex with? Smacks of a manmade fable to me.

I think this is why the Borg use to say over and over "don't have kids" "this isn't the time to be having kids", so a lot of dubs didn't have kids. Have you heard any of that anymore??? If it wasn't for dubs kids the baptism numbers would be even more dismal then they have been. In my old hall, 80% were brought up in the truth, 15% were move ins, very small number actually came from the "territory" very strange.

I think the emphasis is off of not having children because they are they only ones that are getting baptised.

God and Protection

The Bible has a simple and clear explanation for why mankind is in such dire straits: man wants to rule himself and ignore the simple fact that creation needs to obey the Creator. Why should he do so? Because the Creator knows man inside and out in perfect completeness. God did indeed bear the wrath of sin Himself in Jesus Christ. He has offered grace and mercy instead of judgement. God did not create puppets or automatons. He created persons that He could have a relationship with. He did so knowing that man could and would choose to rebel. He offers a clear choice for us in this world or the next: life eternal with Him or life eternal without Him. Suffering happens because man has chosen that path. God made that path right and straight. If you could look past your bitterness you might just be able to see the Lord reaching out to you.

Nothing and no one can touch me, nor the love for God and from God. That is why Christians perservere to the final breath

God bore the wrath of sin for us???? If you believe the story of the bible about the suffering of Jesus on the stake or cross whatever you want to call it and you believe that those 48 hours of suffering that Jesus went through "bore the wrath of sin". How does the suffering of little innocent children for years and years, that makes the 48 hours of Jesus' suffering look like a piece of cake, prove anything? God really wants children to suffer to prove a point to his arch enemy?? NONSENSE

If man wanting to rule himself is the root of all evil, weren't we created in God's image? If wanting to live forever is put in our minds because we are created in God's image, if our sense of justice and our sense of humor..etc is because we are created in God's image then maybe wanting a little independance (like what we want for breakfast) is just a chip off the ole block. If we were created in God's image then why does He blame every f@@king bad vice that we, weak fraile humans have, on Satan?

If God didn't create puppets or automatons, why after the first mistake, the very first dietary mistake, he doomed billions of people to a lifetime of suffering? Sounds like a control freak to me.

Christians persevering to the final breath proves nothing. So do suicide bombers.

If everyone left that was dissillusioned, unhappy and fed up, I believe the borg would crumble. That is sooo sad that so many people feel trapped. I know I felt that way. It has really shocked me how relatively simple it has been to fade away. I should have done this years ago!!!!

The borg has got to feel that the natives are getting restless.
