I know a few active witnesses that consider themselves "outcasts". They even use that word on themselves. These "outcasts" never have any "privileges" and usually sit in the back of the Kingdum Hall. They complain on how the "elders" and other "brothers" and "sisters" treat them like the proverbial "redheaded step child". Although they admit that they are considered "outcasts" and don't have any place in the "congregation", THEY STILL STAY in that hateful religion.

it seems to me that all the jw's i knew while going to the meetings, weather they were spiritually strong or weak, never criticized.
they were like real sheep.. i used to always bitch about the length of the meetings and the time of the meetings and so on.....when i drove the brothers back home in my car or talked to them in private.. naturally i would only say this to my closer jw friends or those i knew wouldn't squeal on me.. .

How many 'real" friends did you ever really have in ther "truth'
by The Lone Ranger insure we got to know a lot of people, we knew a lot more people then the average person, but how many real friends did we ever have?
a friend that we could trust, that we could confine in.
i can say i had just one, bro x and even then i still had to be careful, bro x is an elder now and he tells me that im the only real friend hes ever had, he cant freely talk to anyone.

Does anyone really have a chaperone when out with the opposite sex?
by WingCommander insomehow, i seriously doubt it.
it was spoken about when i was growing up that that was supposed to be the "loving arrangement", but i never heard, saw, or did it myself, nor did anyone else.
since i wasn't allowed out of the house, much less date until i was 16, it wasn't really an issue for me anyway.

I had a chaperone that just wouldn't leave us alone. We couldn't talk with each other without her making a comment. So, I found it easier to just hang with the brothers . We hung out alone and more without any problems. .

September KM - 70 alterations in Revelation Climax Book

p32 box - "they were completely exonerated" changed to "charges against them were dropped" - interesting change of terminology for the 1918 watchtower eight.

for the DF'd: did you confess or were you ratted out?
by kid-A inlooking back at the 10 or so cases of disfellowshipping i recall, i think only 1 was due to the orwellian borg spy system.
he was ratted out.. all the other cases were actually "confessions" by people that otherwise would have gotten away with it.
i am wondering is these percentages.

Well, I was sexing more than one "brother". However, the main one was a M.S. and Bethelite and he didn't know about the others. (I don't want to name names.) He was upset when I told him that I was sexing another "brother". I wanted out of the the J-Dubs... but didn't know how or when to do it. Well when I told the main one about the new "brother" he freaked out. I felt kind of bad about the whole situation and being still under the control of the J-Dubs, I offered the main one (LOL) a solution -- Both of us will go to the elders. He cried and asked what about his mother finding out, the congregation... and him being thrown out of bethel. Long story short -- he wound up that very night going to his bethel elders saying I tried to seduce him! (We were sexing for many years -- remember he was the main one.) He went to his elders with distortions of the facts 9 years ago this month. HINDSIGHT - he went to his elders first in order not to be disfellowshipped. I in turn told the elders (3 of his Bethel elders and 3 of my elders in a committee at 120 Columbia Heights) the DETAILS of the matter (which with what I know now about that f**king religion, I regret not telling the elders to go f**k themselves!) and about 4 to 5 people were disfellowshipped -- some reproved. I WISH I HAD A FREE MIND THEN LIKE I DO NOW... THINGS WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH DIFFERENT!

Would you go back if...
by 24k inwhat if the watchtower announced that they are not god's sole channel of spiritual truth?
along with this admission, would come an apology for all of the misleading and damaging predictions and past teachings.
what if they also dumped the disfellowshipping arrangement, as currently practiced, and allowed for respectful disagreement and disent, on issues such as blood transfusions and military service?

My first blood donation

i've been to the clinic to watch mr frass donate, and it was pretty confronting.
still i've realised that if i'm happy with taking blood, i should be happy to give it too, so i'm going to become a donor.

I read in the Mid-Hudson News yesterday that Jesus Cano was indicted by an Orange County Grand Jury on several charges relating to three alleged incidents in the City of Middletown. Coincidently enough, as I waited for the bus yesterday on Lexington and 42nd to go home from work, a woman began walking towards me with little eye contact. I thought she just wanted to cut the line so paid no mind to it. Then she turns to me as the bus driver opens the doors to let the passengers off. As we waited for the passengers to get off the bus, the lady turns to me and offers me a tract. She was a dub. At first I said, "Sorry, no thanks. But thought to myself, I have been waiting to talk about this JW Pedo, Jesus Cano, for the longest to a dub. So I said, "Did you read the news about the indictment of a Bethel Elder, Jesus Cano." The words were not completely out of my mouth when she interrupted and said, "Yes, he is a traitor. Just like Jesus had Judas, this is our Judas." I told her, "I kind of figured you would respond like that (I remembered reading on this forum the way the Dubs would respond), and I would think the Roman Catholics can use the same excuse." She then said, "Jehovah is cleaning out his organization." The way she said that was very "automatic" for a lack of a better word. It's like the Dubs during their "field service" meeting before going out to "preach" they were briefed on what to say when confronted with the JW PEDO news. Anyways, to her remark about the cleaning of Jehovah's organization I replied, "if it weren't for the cops catching that a**h**e, he would have still been in there stalking little boys and giving out tracts like you." She was most obviously upset repeating "Jehovah is cleaning his organization" and turned around and did not get on the bus. So I got on the bus. When I was on the bus I looked out the window and the dub had been staring at me. So I smiled, pointed to her and with the same index finger made circles around my ear -- signing that she was crazy. Not only for regurgitating what was told her about the JW Pedo, but for standing out in the unbearable heat peddling her tracts. Seems like it's peddle tracts month, because she is not the only looney I saw with tracts in their hands yesterday afternoon.
