  the societys stance on birthdays is either blatantly a lie, or a lack of bible knowledge on the part of the governing body!

  while still attending at the kingdom hall i read job 1:4 where jobs childreneach had celebrations in his own day.

  then read in job after his kids died and all his possession were lost where job cursed his own day.

  This thread was about how little respect some skateboarders, and people in general have toward law enforcement officers, you do a great job of showing everyone reading this exactly what we were talking about.

  Unfortunately, because you're also such a great example of typing fertilizer nobody takes you serious.

  In the video, both cop AND skateboarder are doing things they shouldn't do.

  This really isn't about skatboarding. Nobody's made a law against skateboarding! The kid in the video keeps saying, "I was just riding my skateboard"....No, you were riding your skateboard someplace you KNEW you were not suppose to, and didn't stop when a LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER asked you to.

  It's like somebdy saying, "I was just riding my bike", when in reality, they were going 15 mph down the freeway on a 10 speed! There's a law against that, just like the skateboard law.

  That cop was a jerk.

  I've worked with some cops at the high school where I work and most are pretty cool. One of the things about being a cop these days, especially at a high school is, (yes, there are policeman assigned to work at each school these days) they are treated badly by the far majority of students. Know why? Because they're cops.

  I've worked at a high school for 20+ years and i'm friends with alot of kids, but most skaters I know BRAG about stuff they have destroyed while skating.

  Skate And Destroy. Ask any skater what it means....but like I said THAT cop was a jerk...

  i just read blondies wt review and it made me angry.

  how can the society continue to place more importance on pioneering than getting an education or getting a good job?

  why do these men insist on making young ones (and even older members) feel bad for wanting to have a secure future, what the hell is wrong with not wanting to live in a tent?

  Good post Gill...

  After living at bethel a few years I can tell you how the GB live....LIKE ROYALTY!

  The best of everything. They live rent free on one of the most expensive pieces of property on the planet overlooking lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. They eat fresh food daily, grown on the WT farms. They are treated like they have a direct connection to heaven everywhere they go.

  While they say they also work daily, they have no clue what that really is. Have you ever seen a GB member on a night watchman or dish duty schedule?

  They can travel anywhere in the world they choose to and call it a "Zone visit", then give a half-hour talk where everything they say will be taken as if it was god himself speaking, and then relax on the beach the rest of the time, while everyone in their world wants to take them out to dinner, or have a picture taken with them, or just TALK AND BE SEEN WITH THEM!

  They are the peak of the world they have created and control....that's very important to them.

  maintains the universe now?

  clearly, electrons and protons have a certain mass, light has a particular speed and so on - why should any of.

  I DON"T KNOW....but it's fun to speculate. I personally doubt very seriously if that will be answered in our lifetime. Plus, it hurts my head to think about.

  I just try and be a nice guy to everybody and let the rest of the universe, afterlife, religious thing, etc. take care of itself. Gymbob
