  after all, this is the country that schooled me and fed me.

  i use all the infrastructure here, and am entitled to all rights and benefits that any other citizen was entitled to.

  We always sat....

  I remember one time on vacation in Arizona back in the 60's, my family and I were watching a parade, when the American flag went by and the band was playing the national anthem EVERYBODY took off their hats except my dad! I thought we were going to be killed!

  Standing for the national anthen is something I am now proud to do....it's kind of ironic, but for the last few years now i've been doing alot of sports announcing, and i'm now the guy who asks the fans to "Please stand and remove your hats for the playing of OUR national anthem" !! Gymbob

  i must tell you an interesting story from today.

  gary and i went thru a drive-thru for breakfast and were sitting at our local park (in the car) enjoying our high fat, high cholesterol breakfast when, low and behold, here comes a group of jw's sloooooowly checking out the area.

  (this is right by the river on the green circle trail, which is a favorite place for joggers, walkers, bikers, etc.

  the societys stance on birthdays is either blatantly a lie, or a lack of bible knowledge on the part of the governing body!

  while still attending at the kingdom hall i read job 1:4 where jobs childreneach had celebrations in his own day.

  then read in job after his kids died and all his possession were lost where job cursed his own day.

  This thread was about how little respect some skateboarders, and people in general have toward law enforcement officers, you do a great job of showing everyone reading this exactly what we were talking about.

  Unfortunately, because you're also such a great example of typing fertilizer nobody takes you serious.

  In the video, both cop AND skateboarder are doing things they shouldn't do.

  This really isn't about skatboarding. Nobody's made a law against skateboarding! The kid in the video keeps saying, "I was just riding my skateboard"....No, you were riding your skateboard someplace you KNEW you were not suppose to, and didn't stop when a LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER asked you to.

  It's like somebdy saying, "I was just riding my bike", when in reality, they were going 15 mph down the freeway on a 10 speed! There's a law against that, just like the skateboard law.
