people are driving for miles to the few shops that have opened....many pioneers leave there own congregation territory to buy some 1 hour drive away....i took a box to my witness work mates...they acted like i was giving them gold!

poor witnesses.

they do taste excellent fresh....coffee shops like "starbucks" never took off here....were not big on coffee.

of course, the hypocrisy shines through as when it asks "are fractions also covered by the command to abstain from blood?

Ooh, that's a high estimate. I'd say more like between 5-7%, though knowing them, they'll fudge the numbers, or perhaps lower the hour requirements....

the witchtower seems to be fishing around for some new "hot potato" that will preoccupy the r&f and enable them to keep everbody running in circles until the old litterature has been forgotten.. the noolite at present just hangs fire, with nobody knowing the way forward.. how will the winners of the current power struggle in crooklyn beth hell explain this hiatus, this caesura?.

it was many years ago, it was around 1990, and we had a visit of the c.o.

and a young one asks the co if he can attend to wedding ceremony of a relative that is no witness.. the co said with a kind of superior look to us:" what does a christian doing in a christendom's church(and in our case was the orthodox) were demons are dancing and rejoice during the ceremony.

the writers did say it was a choice one would have to make and think about, but in same paragraph, I could not help but notice how the writer used a guilt trip.

There was also a study article about "personal conscience" (the ironing is delicious!). There were two examples of sisters who made the choice to either attend a wedding to support worldly hubby, or the case of Sister Borgy who doesn't attend because she doesn't want to offend anyone's sensibilities. Both are praised for using their "consciences" to make a choice.
