  Thanks Blondie. Haven't gone through it yet but I have a problem. I don't know if it's just my PC but the first part of your post appears only when the thread is opening. Once the thread finishes loading the first half disappears. In order to view the whole thing I have to click on it to view it as an individual post. So if anyone else has the same issue, just click on the subject of blondie's post itself and select "view".

  Same here. Maybe there's some sort of post limit...?

  Anyhow. Man am I glad that I'm sick and going to miss this meeting. Sounds like a heavy indoctrination session. Especially since they have to have [the dreaded inserts] to take an otherwise encouraging scripture and modify it for the Great Masses.

  Disfellowshiping dead people

  i was in the witnesses in my twenties and one time i was over at a house of a woman who needed some help.

  we were cleaning her house, making her some meals and so on.

  all this was to make her life easier, while she dealt with some things in here life.

  So if I'm dead and df'd does that mean that my family can't talk to my grave unless it's a family emergency? Do witnesses passing through the graveyard have to run away and avoid eye contact with my headstone?

  If I were cremated, would they just put my urn in a garage or something, so they don't have to look at my urn all the time?

  I have worked very hard in my training and the demonstrations that are required to prove that I am the leader that was built to resolve all the wars, suffering and destructive activities this earth has experienced. I have in my head the simple system that quickly and permanently manages this planet as God would want it to be. If you think God was just standing by watching this horror you are wrong he built, trained and assisted me in the same ways he was with Jesus and I am ready to serve you when you are ready to listen and follow my lead.

  Listen pal, I know you want to take on the world, but could you help me out first? See, I've got this problem. I asked two girls out on dates, but I accidentally scheduled the dates on the same night, and in the same restaurant! Boy is that embarrassing! Anyhow, if you could disguise yourself as me and be the wingman...I'd totally owe you one.

  Do they allow internet at bethel?

  just curious, with all the internet bashing, etc, if a bethelite wanted to have internet access in their room, would it be allowed.. if so, i wonder if they monitor the activity?

  Okay, the proxy thing could be tough to set up for a non-technical person, but how about this: internet over a dial-up connection (point-to-point to the ISP, impossible for Bethel to monitor), using a browser such as Firefox that allows you to totally erase your history (history, images, cookies, everything) at the end of each session. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you easily can do that in Firefox, cantcha?

  Yup. You can set it to clear all those things everytime you close FF.

  BTW, has anyone upgraded to FF 2.0?

  i've been seeing a few of those wonderful recycled experiences we all know and love so well.

  so it seemed only right to share a bit of dub poetry to warm your scraggy cockles.

  marry only in the lord - 1 corinthians 7:39. i'd like to tell you a story, about true love at last.it's very informative and has an interesting cast.so pay close attention, it's sad but true,and don't ever think this can't happen to you.. i met him during lunch break on a sunny day,he sat next to me and smiled, as i was about to pray.we talked on and on.

  The book of Revelation, the word of God, or one hell of a drug trip?

  what more confusing and off the wall book in the bible, can there be, then the book of revelation.

  it has all sort of odd things being talked about, all sorts of weird events that seem to only be connected when you twist the mind to the maximum of your imagination.

  so many people, in religions, have tried to explain this off the wall book and yet refuse to face the fact that it might just be complete imagination of nonsense.

  The use of mind altering drugs, alcohol and so on, were not something that did not exist back then.

  Can't tell you about drugs, but alcohol is one of mankind's oldest concoctions. Egyptians were brewing it...Mesopotamians too, as I recall...
