  there are lots of things wrong with me.

  Wiki: Often the substance eaten by those with the disorder contains the mineral of deficiency. If a mineral deficiency is not identified as the cause of pica, it often leads to a diagnosis of a mental disorder.

  so, either 1.) i have a mineral deficiency 2.) i have a mental disorder 3.) it's just a quirky habit for now.

  i think your quirk can be beneficial to those willing to hear your diagnosis.

  i really thought the act of brushing with baking soda thru-out the day was quirky!

  i think if i got any quirkier, it would be weird.

  so, any quirky habits that are on the same level as mine?

  howdy!

  every now and again, i get anxious. to help with the anxiousness, i will unintentionally develop a habit. for 3 weeks, it's brushing my teeth and tongue with baking soda throughout the day. quirky, huh?

  last week, i told my friend in passing about it. he was concerned about it. ( i thought it was harmless), but, he said i could damage my teeth. so, for the last week, i have just been rinsing/gargling with baking soda and water.

  my quirky habits dont last longer than the reason i am anxious (2 days to 6 weeks).

  so, there it is, my current quirky habit.....what's yours?

  i was a dyed in the wool jw.

  he was a 'call' turned over to me by my best friend when he headed off to bethel in '73.. the first time i called there, i nearly gagged with the filthy living conditions.

  i hate the religion of jehovah's witnesses.

  i am of the same view as yourself. your story is a good example.

  sadly, i have seen elders actually kick out 2 persons from the organization for not becoming baptized. one was an elderly lady who needed to belong and the other was mentally handicapped and very innnocent.

  when i was in bethel i met brother schroeder, brother sydlik, barr, barry.

  i said hi to brother franz once as a kid.. the new ones?

  my cat walks on water!....unbelievable personality....

  ya...i am a cat lover!....and have had many of these snuggly beings......but i have a tuxedo cat that is just to most perfect cat in the world....actually better than that, somtimes i call him moto....cause he is the master of the universe!

  !.....when i first saw him as a ferral kitten...i was instantly smitten.....i slammed on the brakes and slid my car til it stopped sideways in the road!...out of about 6 kittens...he was the only one who came to me...it was truly love at first sight........oompa.

  My cat Sissy likes to sleep with me. She will sleep around my knees. If i move while she is asleep and it wakes her, she will get up, walk to my face and slap me to make sure we are both awake. sometimes, when i know i have awaken her, i will try to cover my face, but, she will pull the blanket off my face and get in her slap. once that is taken care of, she goes back to sleep.
