  WHY ARE OUR K.H's UGLY?

  don't know how many here are from southern california.

  some of the areas here are sectioned off like a canadian pizza (the few that i've seen cut into small squares).

  it's because we have so many cities that are sooo conjested they have to build a ton of kh's in order to compensate.. i was just wondering how many besides me have noticed how much nicer the kh's (asuming they all look like this) are in the east in comparison tp the west?.

  In my area...east coast...the KH's are similar to the picture above, except there are NO windows. Some say because there is no light....lol

  Would you please let me know where that came from? Is it actually WTS procedure? I need to know because my father is very ill and he is a jw. I've been curious about what a dub funeral is like. I'm not even sure if I would go or not. I love my Pop dearly, but if I have to hear a sales pitch, I may think twice.

  Have you partaken?

  this sunday will be my first partaking of the bread and wine at communion.

  almost a year after having come away from the dubs and i'm just now feeling "safe" to partake.

  so for those of you who have experienced this already, what do i do if i drop the bread on the floor by accident?

Way back when, I actually dunked my head under water in the bathtub to be baptized! Gosh, we do the wierdest stuff huh?   The Coca Cola Corporation

  sitting this evening with friends chilling out as you do, most of them anti-global capitalists and coca cola came up into the conversation.. you know, we couldn't come up with anything that essentially this giant corporation was doing or has done that might affect adversely other people elsewhere.

  all they produce is one bloody great drink that everyone loves.. anyone else heard of or have something on this corporation?.

  Sick kids at the KH

  this always irked me, when little children were brought to the meetings and they were sick.

  i remember one little girl would cough through an entire meeting.

  they brought her like that for months, they said they didn't know what was wrong with her.

  I've noticed yet another odd reaction.......Witnesses are sick ALOT, but it's almost as if they are sort of proud of this..you know, suffering for God and all......this 'proves' that they are in the truth. Has anyone else ever picked up on this one? Love Dj

  Unfortunately, the Only way the wt can keep the troops in line is by using the emotional snare of fear. I was afraid of everything.....and my fears regarding 'the worldy people' just turned into a hateful self-righteousness! It was a miserable existence......and my self-righteousness only proved to be a bigger snare, just what the devil ordered!

  You remind me of 1John 4:18.......love casts out fear! I'm sure that many can relate to the fear thing!!!

  Whoah, everyone needs to chill.........I am saddened by your replies. I'm fairly certain that all Quantum is saying is as simple as this:

  Don't let the God-forsaken watchtower lies destroy you!!!!!!! That's want they want!

  He is only saying to seek God thru prayer.....Did the dubs EVER tell you that?????

  The WT always claimed to have all of the answers didn't they? They were found to be liars.

  Don't let the liars steal your soul. You can be made whole, if I found the God of Love.......

  I come to the defense of Quantum.......he's not TELLING you what to do! He is only sharing with you.

  It's your choice, take it or leave it. Noone is condemning you. We all share the same past. We've been spiritually beaten, tortured, robbed and lied to! There is a Savior, you know that Jesus dude? The WT referred to him on occasion, in vague terms...remember him? They told us that he only 'really' died for their elite........blah, blah, blah.....................The truth is He's the truth. Not some org. on Brooklyn or some city in Rome. You can actually go directly talk to the Truth. If you want to.........................like I said
