i can see through my "member directory" where you have responded to the post regarding john 1:1. i cannot, however, see what your response is, as i no longer have authority to revisit that thread.

in truth, i should have left it some time ago, but in wanting to provide to all those who demand it a reason for my hope... i went back.

How can something so powerful, knowledgeable and all-permeating be so much in doubt?

Mainly because of people who distort and twist what the bible teaches or listen to voices that contradict what it teaches. This is how you were misled into being a jw. I am not asking you to believe in God. Ashitaka is making light of something that was very serious. Many who read Aguest's teachings on her threads could end up believing yet another false "voice". My purpose is to make sure that people who are seeking for God's truths are not misled by her. Runningman, I don't expect you to be understanding of what I am saying, you have made it clear that you don't believe in God. I'm just asking that you respect the people who are trying to help others from being further misled. Thanks for your courtesy. love, dj

what i first received i thought to be the "cervix"; my goodness, i had completely forgotten how the female body is truly constructed and that anything otherwise existed!

mulan called me yesterday afternoon to tell me her dad had suffered a stroke.

i did talk to my dad last night and he seemed to think that grandpa was going to be ok. i had a birthday party with nine little girls all afternoon and was completely out of touch as a result.. i think she could use a hug, don't you?.

If you read the thread that the poster took my quote from..you will see God "showing Himself" through the written word of the bible.

I doubt that you read the entire thread. It is a classic example of the way people get carried away to bring false teachings when they do not test their inspired utterances. I would urge you to read it all through before you comment. The John 1:1 thread that you have taken my quote is a prime example of the way the wt teaches their nonsense. The thread really isn't something to make light of. The fact is, that because people like Aguest listen to "voices" that contradict the bible, many people are misled. If you find it amusing to see people try to teach lies to others, then I feel sad for you. I don't think that you know what you are doing here. There are some very serious issues there. The same "voice" that Aguest is heeding is the same voice that the wt leaders listen to. I don't see the humor.

These are some things that Aguest's voice has taught her. She does not test these inspired utterances with the word of God in the bible nor does she see that Jesus warned us about those who would teach a different gospel and those who would claim "I am the Christ" We are commanded NOT to listen!! some were very close to what is true; others, pure speculation.

I am deeply troubled by this thread but you have been a blessing and you have the victory here through Our Lord Jesus Christ! Stand tall Undis, yet still keep humble my friend. I couldn't be happier than to see those blatant falsehoods thrown out by this "voice" who opposed the teachings of the bible....be sent away in fear. Aguest is no longer permitted to view this thread because the "voice" is afraid that she will see truth. We have to pray for her, she is in bondage that is left over from her wt days as this spirit is very familiar to me as the same spirit who teaches the wt. Oh, how upsetting but prayer will free her. last night when i went to bed, my heart was quite heavy: there were things on it, in it, thereon... whatever... that i could not reconcile: i know what i have heard from my lord - how do i get others who love him to grasp that such a thing is possible, to understand that they do not have to take my word for it, but can ask him, for i am nothing more than a good-for-nothing-slave... and have "sold" myself into the "service" of the one who "bought" me... so that it is his will that i must obey... whether earthling man hears... or refrain?

this is not new "fight" with me, let me tell you: i know exactly how jeremiah felt, for i cannot count the times my heart has felt the same thing.

We need to remember to test the inspired utterances!!!! Please heed that. I do not do this to hurt you Shelby but let God be true and every man a liar. I strongly suggest to you that you read your bible and stop listening to voices which contradict! You are being deceived by the voice that made you leave the JOHN 1:1 thread because it was about to be exposed. Go back and read it! You say that the voice suggests that you don't....WHY????? Undisfellowshipped gave you scriptures to show that your "voice" is wrong. My Lord would never expect you to run from being exposed. Test it! He taught us to test the inspired utterances.In Galations it says that if even an angel out of HEAVEN preaches to you another gospel, let him be accursed!!! You must remember too, that "Hymen" was a false god. Have you considered the notion that our Lord would never "feed" that nonsense to his children. You accuse us of hard hearts. Maybe so but don't forget to look at your own as well. You are still believing that you are a member of the 144,000 . Remember back to what Group you belonged to when you were taught that too! I plead with you to stop and heed His voice in the word. You are open prey to any number of falsehoods if you disregard the truths in the bible as a base to test these voices. God does not lie or contradict himself but the wt does and they listen to these voices as well. The true God's voice is small and still in your soul. You will know when you hear it.
