The letter seemed to have the intent to protect kids form predators. They did not mention any specific cites but I think they were refering to ones like "My Space". They mentioned the danger of giving out personal info like address, etc. They also mentioned the danger of posting pictures. All in all I felt it was sound information.

Any Info On Letter To Be Read This Week??
by owenfieldreams inhi, everyone.
i'm hearing rumors that a letter is going to be read at this week's service meeting here in the us about kids and the internet.
let me guess--its another "the internet is evil" propaganda letter trying to steer everyone away from going online....

I know this is silly, but I love it when people on here say "whilst". We never, ever say that in the US. Whenever I see that word in a post it makes me smile.

AT 1:26PM FRIDAY OUR DAUGHTER WAS BORN!!!
by Es inwell its all happend, got to the hosp early friday morning, had my waters broken at around 7:30am had to wait for an hour and a half to see if labour would begin naturally, it didnt so at 9am i was hooked up to the drip, man that was intense, put it to you this way, blakes labour was about 8 hours all up kaia's labour was 3 hours and i would rather go through the 8 hour one anyday.. it was a very short labour, kaia was born a bit shocked as it happend so fast so she was rushed up to nursery for a bit as she was purple and not breathing properly but after an hour on oxygen she was fine, me on the other hand had to be stitched up coz pushing a 9 pound 1 baby out naturally with no drugs does damage heheh, then i had to be hooked up to a drip for 4 hours as i lost a bit of blood.
but once we were all sorted it was all good.
she is doing so well we are at home now, she is beautiful and very content.

daft fashion question
by Ellie inbefore i got pregnant i bought some nice short sleeve shirts, now that i've had my baby they are quite tight across the chest and my belly, so i was wondering if i could wear them open with a vest top underneath, or would this look daft?.

I don't get the vest part. A camisole would work well though.

Okay, here's my story.
by sundawn77 inhey all.. first of all i want to say that i am really impressed by the warm atmosphere that this board provides.
i remember when i was little and we learned about non-witnesses, and they were portrayed as children-eating, blood-drinking criminals.
okay, i exaggerate, but the connotations were there!.

Welcome! We are here to help. I hate to tell you but at 47 I still feel the pain the comes with the lack of unconditional love from my parents. You never get over it because it sets the stage for your self-esteem and all future relashionships. But, don't get bogged down it thise feelings. They will come and go all your life but do your best to rise above them. If you become a parent, make a pact with yourself to give your children unconditional love and undo the cycle. Rejoyce in watching them grow and become their own person. Surround yourself with true people who love you for who you are and don't judge you. Revel in your own accomplishments and pat yourself on the back whan you achive a goal. When you fail at something, learn from it but don't beat yourself up. Rise above it and move on. You sound like an intelligent, dynamic person. You have what it takes to succeed in life regardless of what your parents think. Hang in there, surely you'll feel better tomorrow.

by restrangled inmy poor guy is crabbier than hell.
i have kept him well fed, but it doesn't seem to do the trick.
i am calling on all men out there to tell me what to do and i know sex is an answer too, but is there anything in addition to this you guys wish for when work/life is stressing you out?.

Ah, the cave. Yes, I read that book too and yes, my husband loves the cave. We have an agreement though, I let him stay in his cave when he needs to but if I feel he's been in there too long I let him know. He has learned to recognize that while it's OK to go in the cave he can't stay there indefinitly w/o hurting others.
By the way, I don't know your situation, but is your husband an elder? The worst humor my husband was ever in, and the longest time he spent in the cave was just before he stepped down. He was soo stressed he became almost imposible to live with, even though he is naturally a very even tempered guy.
