  I've known several that have been happy. One in particular was even shorter than you, maybe 5'. She looked much better after. She was trully out of proportion before. But, like Blondie said, make sure you research your surgeon and that he or she has done many such surgeries before.

  well, today i came home from work and i found some pamphlet from a jehovah's witness on my doorstep.

  i began to read it because before i state what i believe i think it is only fair that i find out some info.

  it was the flyer about the end of false religion.

  Are you really free from the Watchtower?

  the thread on how long it took you to get out of the organisation made me think.

  i honestly think anyone that spends more than half an hour per day on anti-jw sites like this is, psychologically, not out of the organisation at all, despite their best protests.

  the watchtower clearly still fascinates them to the point of an obsessive, compulsive need to frequently post on this website and others.

  "Whom shall we go away to"?

  All our family and friends are witnesses. We need an outlet for our thoughts and feelings. This board provides just that. I've looked at many other sites and they are either too militant, religious, or just plain creepy(E-Watchman).

  Also, "free" is a relative concept. It comes in degrees. I for one will always be tied to the witnesses. After 47 years I have no choice in the matter. We are all on a journey and ths site helps us along the way.

  I know of several. One in particular was a very dear friend. She is now disfellowshipped. He is still a witness in good standing.

  I find it very hard to fake anything. I am usually an upbeat smiley person anyway, and I great everyone with a smile. If I am really down, it shows, and everyone asks if I'm OK. I don't have any animosity towards any individuals in my cong., so why shouldn't I smile?

  i have seen the idea floated a few times in some interesting places, but also on threads here.. i think she would get the vote out in a way it has never been gotten out before.

  it would also throw all the pollster's margins of error way out of whack (which might be worth it, all by itself).. why do you think she should be or could be elected president?.

  I admire and respect Oprah. I think her idealism and energy would make her an exellent leader. However, "power does corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely", so maybe it would change her in some way. Besides, she is black and a woman-two stikes against her in the mind of many.

  the ones i grew up with always speak to me even the ones who have subsequently become elders and are pioneers.. they sicken me!!!.

  i would like to shun them, eventhough we were freinds growing up.

  I know people who won't shop at Albertson's because they say the owner was disfellowshipped.

  I know a family that would not eat at the local Cracker Barrel because there was a rumor that all their servers were lesbians.
