by dobbie inhi well following on from my previous post about probs with sis and bro in law and how they haven't spoken for ages,hubs wentround today to have it out and say do they want to know me or not (i am d'ad but she has contact with her d'ad family) and she now says she does as we're family and that i've been ignoring her!
(uh hello?what cloud you on girl!
) anyway she has agredd for us all to meet and discuss what sort of part we will have if any in each others lives, because our two boys are the same age and in the same class and we don't want them to suffer.

Yes but the trouble is with family, particularly in relation to hubby's mother and her husband they will not speak to me or even come to our house to see the kiddies, but they say it is not shunning as they can contact us in case of an emergency, eg someone in the family dies!

this happened to a woman who bought a leather coat among other things and when she reviewed her slip she knew absolutely that the new cashier messed up.

We once bought a bedroom furniture set and when hubby had paid he realised they had not charged for a £60 item!He was all for running off with it but i made him go back and pay.
Recently at a garden centre they forgot to charge for about £30 worth of items (girl on till wasn't the brightest spark) but i didn't notice til i got home and saw things missing off the receipt. I was so worried that i rang straight away and told them and paid the next day cos i thought if i didn't i'd never feel able to shop there again!

Her hubby said to him though that there's a big difference between Jehovah kicking you out and you doing it yourself (though initially she told me if i d'ad it wasn't so bad so she wouldn't cut me off). Then she said to my hubs to remember that i new what the consequences of my d'aing would be (like that makes it any easier, have they no idea how incredibly hard it was for me?!)and that they are not really meant to associate.
I was just wondering if you could tell me the best sites to go to where you can look up the scriptures they use to say you shouldn't associate with an ex witness, i found one once and it went through them all and then explained the scriptures in their context but i can't remember where it was. I just want some ammo to use should they start bringing all that up.

i always exhaust all non-surgical options before doing it.
i know enough about medicine to know that surgery is effectively a controlled injury... and that makes me nervous.

by snowbird ini'm off work today with a late summer cold.
i hurt all over in places i never knew existed.
i'm looking across the fields at trees that are just beginning to turn color, but my soul finds no delight in the view.. ah...but tomorrow comes.

Don't think i should have sent the text i just did ....
by dobbie inthink i just did something really stupid.
i have had a bad couple of days.
i was in the playground yesterday and had my jw bil stood right in front of me ignoring me totally (i'm d'ad) but talking to my hubby, who said nothing to him (her my eifes here too or something would have been nice) so i felt like total dogs poo and we both ended up in tears over it all when i got home.

Well it's nearly 3am here and i'm still awake plus got an antenatal today so getting het up. Thanks for your support it makes such a difference knowing we are all affected by this rubbish (though of course i wish you weren't!)
Oompa the dr did offer me counselling back along when i was poorly but i decided against it as i have a very supportive non jw mum and step dad and thought there'd be others who might need it more than me.
Anyway thanks for caring, just got to walk in with my head up today and see what happens!xx

The first one was beyond jehovahs witnesses which gave lots of links toother sites including this one. After i left jws and was struggling the site CAIC really helped me to see that my feelings/emotions are all totally normal and i was not going nuts!
