So someone in my hubbys family who has been shunning me and i have not been able to see her kids etc and said it was my choice to leave so i must accept the consequences etc has been caught out. She's had three affairs over the last two years, with both sexes plus watching porn sex toys etc . Anyway its her final jc meeting tonight, so do you reckon (and she has told them she can't say it definately won't happen again!) they'll d'f her or keep her in? I'm really hoping for the first as then she'll see just what its like having friends and family turn against you, but i've got a sneaky suspiscion they're going to let her off just cos they need to keep their numbers up! What do you think? Will let you know tomorrow what's decided!

Guess Who's Back
by KW13 inwell i am glad to say i learnt enough to last me a life time and that i have once again returned to jwd - sooner than i thought but suitably refreshed!.
i made a topic not so long ago about a family situation, thanks for your help with that everyone and your advice was spot on.. nothing much is going on here (well nothing new) - noah is well, megan is alright and i am fine also.
mum is being a bit funny with me but nothing too serious yet, i cornered her with something and for the first time not only could she not find an answer she couldn't think of anything on the spot of her own invention to answer me but otherwise everything is as good as it can be.. anyway, nice to be back.

Apostates - viewed as liars, the devils henchmen & to be avoided at all cos
by The Scotsman inyes, as far as jehovahs witnesses are concerned, apostates are evil, wicked, faithless liars.. i was wanting to ask - assuming most if not all who come here are in the jw category of apostate, how do you feel about the fact that you are portrayed in such a light by the org?.
i will be the first to admit - i always thought that those who criticized the org were untruthful or exaggerating.
its not until now i have considered what you guys have to say and how you feel that i realize that what you have to say is all truthful (tinged with a bit of anger perhaps).. personally i think its verging on character assassination.

Doesn't bother me anymore, i have come to realise/find out that i am more honest than most of those who are jws. And i know they are so controlled as to believe most of the rubbish they get 'fed' through the publications. Feel more sorry for them now than myself.

MsMcDucket: Would you miss her if she wasn't here?
by AuldSoul inmsmcducket doesn't believe she'd be missed.. http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/6/143341/2578096/post.ashx#2578096.
i believe that's a sign she's gone dotty.
i also believe we can convince her she's wrong.. respectfully,.

What was your first car?
by nicolaou inmine was an old fiat 127, i bought it 1983 and it was at least fifteen years old then!
the seats were vinyl and there were no rear seatbelts so i could send my girlfriend and her sister flying with each bend in the road!
it wouldn't go above 55mph and was rattling like rollercoaster when it finally got there.. the rear window fell out and it finally croaked in puff of blue/black smoke.

My very own first car was a Ford KA (which i loved) which i bought off mum when it was 2yrs old. It's 6 now and i just exchanged it last week for a new 5 door fiesta (so i'd be ok out in the ministry now lol) as i need more room now and kept banging my head climbing in the back to strap the boys in!
My first car together with hubby was his vauxhall nova (hated it - i need power steering!) and then we bought a new fiesta and now he has a ford focus (trying to save up for a galaxy people carrier will be 5 of us soon)

6 Die From Brain-Eating Amoeba in Lakes
by Elsewhere inhttp://www.physorg.com/news110255496.html.
it sounds like science fiction but it's true: a killer amoeba living in lakes enters the body through the nose and attacks the brain where it feeds until you die.
even though encounters with the microscopic bug are extraordinarily rare, it's killed six boys and young men this year.

Poor young kid, just go out for a good time on your birthday, you don't think it's gonna kill you, that's so sad.
