hey, grewup, you never replied telling me which pages of the interlinear you wanted to have scanned... either way, here's a great OT/NT (hebrew/greek) interlinear program that you can download for free, it's called ISA:

thought this was interesting ........
by grewupJWnoselfesteem78-95 inwhilst working on a project discussing revisions in the new world translation that they have purposly done to support doctrane (i have many) anyways..... when i cut and paste the literal translation on my pre set web page all was sweet ......though ...... when i cut and paste the nwt translation in my word program it advised the wording needed to be rephrazed to make subjectual sence or that grammar was not correct and needed to be changed ......... interesting i thought .........

Is Satan actually the good guy, and Jehovah the evil usurper?
by 10p ina few years ago i read genesis again, and with a more objective mind, got the sense that satan was actually telling the truth, and that god was just trying to have humans be his slaves.
and god's reign over humans hasn't been all that pretty, in fact, its been downright awful.. 'course, i'm atheist now, so i wouldn't believe it even that way around - not literally anyway.
but i wondered if the writer/editors of genesis may have actually had this thought.. anyone know of any sources that explore this idea in depth?.

So killing Adam at this point would surmount to killing billions of humans all at once>>>>>
Interesting way to put it, JCanon
btw, I'm curious about why you refer to satan as 'she'?

Shunning policy from the 1920's
by tsar_robles ini found this post in you tube:.
"in the meantime the brother may merely be treated in the kindly, courteous way in which it would be proper for us to treat any publican or gentile, withholding the special rights or privileges or greetings or voting opportunities that belong to the church as a class separate from the world" (wt 3/1/1919, p. 69).
can anyone in this forum validate this quotation?

Went to the Memorial Last Night
by B_Deserter inthe hall i went to had some guy from bethel who literally sounded like a 12-year-old giving the talk.
all i could think about was v's video about the memorial and how it's nothing but an infomercial for jehovah's witnesses.
i realized why the memorial is "so important" to jehovah's witnesses: it's their biggest recruiting day of the year!

My witness friend came over to my house after their memorial and invited me to go salsa dancing downtown... oh we had lots of fun!

What proof is there of evolution?
by hotchocolate inbeing raised a witness, throughout my life i've always switched off when i heard an argument for evolution.
so i know almost nothing about the subject, except what i was taught in the "evolution vs creation" book, and i'm guessing that wasn't entirely impartial.
i think of the arguments put forth by witnesses about the amazing design in nature, thereby proving a creator.

cool moxie. my wife sort of disagrees with me. She thinks the creator may have given life a self-automated control that wouldn't require any further intervention from him; but she thinks the creator may have made an exception to the rule with the creation of man and woman.

that's a good thought, moxie. Actually it's an excellent thought about how the biblical account of a worldwide flood does leave room to be considered a legend.
I myself still don't know what to make of the bible itself (god's or man's word) because of stories such as the flood. It may have just been the best form the hebrew ancestors found in making sense of it all.
I am not sure how many people agree with my line of thought posted right above...

I agree with hamsterbait; 'evolution' and 'creation' as we know them can coexist in this line of thought. In other words, there is a creator/designer/god that kicked off the natural process which may have or may have not required further intervention from him once life started.
