  New Baptism Requirement?

  i would appreciate answers on this from elders or former elders .. speaking to a young unbaptized witness, he said that he'd like to get baptized asap, but he would have to achieve a return visit or two on his report before that could happen.. when i asked him what made him think that, he said that that was what the elders had told his sister to do, before she could get baptized.

  is this standard practice by elders?.

  haven't they read acts 2:38 to find out what qualifies a person for baptism?

  I wonder how they offer assistance and spiritual comfort. Maybe telling them that they won't see their love ones again, UNLESS, they become JW and meet them in paradise?

  On Friday, December 14, 2012, a shooting took place at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut. Media outlets are reporting that upwards of 27 people were killed, including the gunman and 20 children. Initial reports indicate that at least two Witness youths were at the school during the shooting but were not injured. Jehovah’s Witnesses in the area are offering assistance and spiritual comfort to the families and communities affected by this tragedy.

  The Early Morning Field Service Scam.

  early yesterday morning i was driving through town on a street that rearly has any foot traffic and never at 7:30 am on a sunday morning and there they were.

  a group of jbubs milling about counting time.

  i drove a little further and there was a second group walking slowly down the street in the morning drizzle.

  Interesting Bobcat. Thanks for your imput! I think the point is whoever comes in the resureccion, has to wait 'till "the last day". Also, I understand "presence" as the second coming of Christ.

  When he comes the second time, he will raise up everybody in order.

  Very very interesting take on it PSacramento. Now that we are talking about this and the end, if this "last days" refer to the Millenial reign, and the promise that Jesus gave to the disciples is the same thing he gave to these people in chapter 6, that takes us to the resureccion. If people that participate of the blood of Chris will expect the resureccion on the "last day", the WT is wrong again saying that we have anointed people already flying to the sky since 1919.
