face it, there is one very true statement that can be said about the bible.
that is, that there are two completely different gods described.
the old testament, is talking about a angry, vengeful and wrathful god.

do you think they are doing this because they truly love the satan character and want to please him or do you think they do it for complete shock value.
to basically do something that makes what is defined as good in society (christian religion) angry that someone would do something so wrong.
personally, i do not think there is one satanist out their who truly thinks that they are worshiping a being that is real, or actually something that could benefit from their worship.
I absolutely understand the distinction between Wicca and Satanism. I think that if someone worships "Satan" and understands Satan to be a really evil badass, they're asking for trouble. If you're talking horned god/fertility, you aren't talking evil/devil. I think that's the distinction -- what is the nature of that which you worship?

i recently bought a high powered rifle and am presently buying a pistol for back-up.
i have a cross bow, a compound bow, and several swords and knives, in fact i have been collecting knives for some time and have learned how to use them in defending myself and in taking the initiative in learning to defend myself.
i am quite versed in using both the croww bow and the compound bow, it seems the goverment doesn't want to defend us and just wants to unarm us.

Cause theives usually bring plasma cutters with them.. If you have a serious gun safe, you should be OK.

I was actually thinking about that the other night. The old testament god, in the eloquent words of Lewis Black, is a prick.
But if you read the psalms, they say that he is a god of kindness and mercy. The bible studies will ask the question "How do we know that Jehovah is a Kind, Merciful God?" the answer is... "because the bible says so"
All I ever read in the OT stories was a god of anger, vengeance and jealousy.. where was the love?
