  did anyone watch slingblade on tv last night?

  i thought billy bob thornton was supposed to be a good actor, but what a crap movie!

  on the subject of disfellowshipping, there is something i don't understand.

  I personaly could never understand the reasoning in thinking if all your so called friends ignore you and act as though you were dead that its going to make you want to bust your as$ to get back in the organisation. Just dont make sense to me................................Jedd

  Howdy folks, remember me? Well even if ya dont its good to be back! A power surge fried my comp. and I just got my new one on line , thought I`d pop in and see how every body is doin.

  Lots have happened in these past few months, I am now an official disassociated spawn of Satan apostate type person, and I feel great about it , its like I took a double dose of laxitive after a long bout of constipation. I`m free at last!

  im shure that most of you could have thought about this.. there is always some nagging feeling that you have that says:.

  im i gonna die at armagaddon?.

  its just human nature i guess.. how do you put that silly nagging feeling out of your mind?.

  The other side of the coin

  beautifulgarbage's post about the rocks and beck's post about living life over again reminded me of something that i have on my refrigerator that i try to live by.

  i am thankful...... for the teenager who is not doing dishes and watching tv, because that means he is at home, not on the streets.. for the taxes that i pay, because it means that i am employed.. for the mess to clean after a party, because it means that i have been surrounded by friends.. for the clothes that fit a little too snug, because it means i have enough to eat.. for my shadow that watches me work, because it means i am out in the sunshine.. for a lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning, and gutters that need fixing, because it means i have a home.. for all the complaining i hear about the government, because it means that we have freedom of speech.. for the parking spot i find at the far end of the parking lot, because it means i am capable of walking and that i have been blessed with transportation.. for my huge heating bill, because it means i am warm.. for the lady behind me in church that sings off key, because it means i can hear.. for the pile of laundry and ironing, because it means i have clothes to wash. .

  for weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day, because it means i have been capable of working hard.. for the alarm that goes off in the early morning hours, because it mean that i am alive.. and what's the use in living if you spend your whole life complaining, so always try to look at the bright side.. shimmer

  Question for those who believe the bible.

  a thread started by realist which mentioned the flood and the disappearance of the dinosaurs got me thinking.

  since i do not own a bible i had to download one from the internet to check a few things out (my computer is really pissed at me now).

  it's been many years since i read the bible but i needed to be accurate in my research to ask my question.

  WOW Dave thanks,and yes I am blown away! I feel like somebodys taken dark glasses off my eyes. I am definatly going to get some books tommorow and start my research, this is something I have suspected for quite a while but could never let myself look into it.
