at the moment I actually attend meetings and plan on getting reinstated for family and friends, and yes it is horrible sitting through that crap.

by Cass inhi all, i know this must have already been discussed, but i'm just wondering if there is anyone here who has just kept going to meetings and the rest of it, just so that they don't lose their family?

That's it, we've had ENOUGH and we are MOVING!
by Schism ini know this question has been asked before, but i can't find the old post about this.
i am looking for another area of the us to move to.

Hey schism where you been haven't seen you on much lately? Everything ok?
On to you topic I love conneticut or up-state NY but it gets pretty cold in the winter sometimes. Colorado is really nice but Utah is similar and most parts are cheaper. I live in MO it's ok here we have all four seasons the winters aren't to hard but we do get some snow and the economy isn't bad. I used to live in Cali it has alot of perks but is insanely exspensive to house yourself unless you stick to the middle of the state which is still high. What does your husband do for work? If it has anything to do with construction stay as far away from Mexico as possible, nothing against mexicans but the illegals kill the construction market.

Welcome to the board.
Now you go where all apostates go staight to hell. J/K
Just take your time you don't have to know everything ever, even when you are a parent. You will figure out some things for yourself along the way but there is no hurry. You don't have to be the all-knowning all seeing supreme supreme authority in your childs life you can say "I don't know". Teach them to be a good person that's enough. You'll be ok and so will they.

Society's claim of Matt. 24:14 being fulfilled - What it could really mean
by Jourles ini've had this thought for quite a while and wonder if fits with the recent talk about the wts claiming that matt.
24:14 has been fulfilled.
my thought was this --- in the wake of the recent cutbacks at bethel, scaling back of literature, and other cost cutting measures, could the wts be preparing the r&f for the complete or massive reduction of literature that would normally be placed with "householders?

they could really cut back on exspenses if they would {gasp} only use the bible.

Help settle a debate. Internet relationships...
by esw1966 ina stay at home dad posted on craig's list that he was looking for platonic email correspondance with a lady, someone to talk about life with, insights into relationships, a reason to turn on the computer in the morning et cetera....... my fiance occasionally finds herself seeking relationships with select people online and getting into soulful conversations with them.
she feels that people can be their truest selves in these moments.
to share the quirks of life with random fellow americans is somehow thrilling to her.

lots of relationships have escalated over the internet. it's no different than if she ran into some random guy at the supermarket and started developing a close friendship with him. She should be focusing on your relationship and building that and making it stronger.
I have said no and have tried to implement the subjection issue which is a little shaky at the moment.
Don't do that. Absolutely the wrong way to go with this, it will almost certainly cause her to want to do it more out of spite. You own her and can't make her do anything she has to want to and if she doesn't see you are threatened by this and that alone makes her want to stop then there are other issues at hand.
