  I ask this because I've come to a place in my life where I can respect everyone's view - whether I agree with it or not. I'm happy to associated with you, have a cuppa, be kind and discuss any subject. I don't have to be right and don't mind if I am wrong - on any given subject. I realise that we all have an opinion - I may not like yours, or may not agree with it, but you have the right to it and that is what I respect.

  Well said LouBelle! I am standing in that spot with you. It's wonderful here isn't it?

  I saw on GMA this show premieres this week. Mayte Garcia, Prince's ex-wife, is one of the ladies featured on the show. I am mildly curious if she says anything about him...but I may not have the fortitude to watch without hurting myself. When the ladies were interviewed this morning about their exhusbands, they said there would be no bashing, but the look on Mayte's face is she is none to fond of the purple one. I think he became a JW during their marriage, I could be wrong.

  she is totally snowed by the organizaiton.

  I've been using "righteous indignation" over the pedo and shunning issue. I don't discuss it but make it clear it goes against my conscience, over and over again. This current case has tons of nuggets by the defense in the transcripts. It will be a valuable source I'm sure for all of us in making sure our loved ones know exactly who and what the WBTS is.

  @Blondie: So very true. They have a total disconnect to other humans. I remember around the time I left, the kindness of my neighbors, (my mother was very sick), and workmates. I thought to myself, "huh. Why are they doing that? I don't really know them and they don't know me." The lightbulb went off, they were normal, I was not. It is normal to be concerned about others, not just to preach to. STrange to have to learn it at my age. Better late than never for sure. Another poster from this board wrote me today they her elder son told her he was going to miss her in the "New World." (TM) Who says that stuff? Sadly, so delusional.

  First, thank you Blondie for your efforts in presenting this material every week, and the contributions you give to the board.

  A "sister" (TM) called me this week and read some of this article to me. I tolerate her because she is kind and non judgemental. But hearing excerpts of this on the phone almost made me . I say nothing, crickets, and she moves on. I see she was reading from the first few paragraphs, all about the nations attacking "us." Wrenchingly sad this...such delusion as to think the world govs are going to "attack" this little non descript group of people. I want to scream "GET OVER YOURSELVES ALREADY!!!"

  so israel is running from the egyptions... the desert god is taking wheels off of chariots and such so they can cross the red sea.

  he also has already told moses at this point that hes going to do away with pharoh and his army too.... .

  Flipper Jr. & Flipper Sr. Leave Child Abuse News Releases at Kingdom Halls

  of course everyone knows about the news of the candace conti child abuse case which has gone viral , ( one would have to live in a cave, under a rock, or another planet not to know about it ).

  that being said - it may very well be that those jehovah's witnesses who do not use the internet, or read newspapers, or in simple english are neanderthal's, still living in the 19th century or before , out of fear of negative reprisal from wt authorities may have not even heard about this case because they are in the habit of not watching the news or using the internet.. so- with those particular type of people in mind my son flipper jr. & myself decided to print up about 20 copies of the candace conti child abuse lawsuit from the england daily mail issue , here's the link : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2160605/candance-conti-molested-jehovahs-witnesses-member-age-nine-wins-28milion.html?ito=feeds-newsxml .. so what we did is since we are doing some out of town jobs in several counties we figured we'd leave these child abuse news releases under jw car windshields at kingdom halls while they are out in field service.

  we left about 15 so far at 3 different kingdom halls under car windshields .

  I posted a comment on one of Bill Bowen's posts in FB. There is a daughter of a friend "trying to come back" (TM) that is still in my friends. I hope she reads my comments and Bill's. I totally want to rain on her parade.
