  SAD news about OOMPA......

  our friend, oompa, has passed away.

  just recieved the news a couple of hours ago, and have almost no details.

  it happened today or yesterday, he took his own life.

  to date JWism has defined my life and i hate that TRUTH

  and i am finding the adjustment to the real world far more difficult than i ever imagined...i f...it has been about five years since i totally woke up to the fraudulant nwt and then all my other doubts i had carried for years were proved true as well.

  but almost all of my few friends are exjw or slack jw's and i feel so isolated...my sons friends are mostly exjw too but not their gf's and they have way more normal friends .

  how have you done at replacing lifelong friends and family?

  I received the news about Eric in a text from wha happened last evening. I was at a bar with coworkers having drinks. I showed them the text and told them a little of the story, but made it clear the loss of his wife and the parents he loved due to the shunning policy of JW was too much for him to bear. They were appalled, as anybody with a human heart would be.

  His parents and wife must be so proud of their stand.

  Any one watch Season Six of DEXTER on Showtime.. The doomsday killers...

  .. and all revelations stuff... it reminde me of the society ... when travis said to dr. gellar.." look at all the people they're all dead!

  yikrs to familliar... so it did make me look to one of the only wts books around here..it's a red one... any way look up two witness in it .. cuz these two serial killers think they are... two paragraphs i new it was bs!!!.

  back to dexter.. any way would love too talk, no one i know has showtime... face book page has two many people, although i did make a friend in aus, downunder..during season 2.. and i had some killer comments that got masive likes .. on requested takes... murder scenes from revelations.. where the killers were going to bring about the end .. by sacrifices.. murders.... so any one love a serial killer named dexter like me... i liken myself to him, it was how he has a dark passenger.... will talk any season, if you're behind on dvd.. the gal from aus, was behind tooo... l8r t8r.

  I'm a reader also, and was a voracious reader as a kid. The "society" came out against reading mysteries when I was 10 or so years old. My mother said I could no longer read mystery stories and stated the edict from the society. It made no sense to me...it's fiction, a story...could these adults not understand that? It was really weird to me. There was no book burning or any dramatics, but instead, a constant drip of fear implanted about anything and everything "worldly." I am almost over all of it, but still am amazed at the niggle from time to time I feel from the brainwashing from years on by. POS religion.

  Congrats at having the wherewithall to leave at a young age. Welcome again and I look forward to your posts.

  Space Shuttle Endeavour Today

  so, is there anyone in the l.a. basin area who saw the space shuttle endeavour and its nasa boeing747 transport, as it made its way over southern california today?

  or, for that matter, anywhere over california?

  i saw it, from the parking lot of a hotel, directly across the street from disneyland, as it crossed over disneyland.

  as a born in, one of my earliest thoughts has always been jehovah has an angel that writes down everything in a big book, all the good things that happen to me/others and everything bad that happens to me/others.

  i faithfully and honestly believed that.. in march of this year i read c of c. by 5 am the next morning i was out.

  I just read your thread! Whoa...oh my what you have been through. I love the fact you recognized TTATT so quickly from reading C of C. My leaving was about that quick as well. Done and out in a matter of minutes.

  I received your PM and responded. I do know the brother of whom you speak. Maybe designs does too...I'll have to ask him.
