You may not get a reply, there was another thread started this a.m. about the show.
It was a good one, more like a season finale I thought.
Thanks! Obviously I didn't scroll back far enough!

Very good show last night.
someone lent me the dvd of the secret over the weekend.
we watched it last night and i wondered what everyone thought of it?
i thought that it was very "evangelical" and alot like the jw's - large on promise and small on content.
Yep, before it hit big time.
I like the message even though some of the characters can be squirrely (sp?? spelling nazis eek). The message is as old as the hills, but a succinct and practical way of presenting it in today's world.
I have found it works in many things...although I need to concentrate on the money more ; ))
I say put the filter on and use what you like!
i am going nuts!
as many of you may remember i had a really bad hair cut and highlighting session that has kept me in misery for at least 60 days.
i now have 2 inches of dishwater blond hair at the top, highly bleached blond in the middle, and that orangey gold at the base.
I'm blond, and my hairdresser makes a lot of money fixing other peoples dye jobs. Lots of variables with that bleach stuff.
If you don't want to spend the big bucks to have an expert try to fix it (they should be honest if they can or not), then a good short crop cut maybe.
But look for people that you like their hair and just ask them. I've found several that way and I've recommended also.

what about you?
Do you buy JEWELRY from a retail store or online?
Yes I would/do buy jewelry online. The large reputable online merchandisers (HSN,QVC,SHOPNBC) have 30 day return policy. There are other ones, Blue Nile and Red Envelope are two I can think of, that are high end and would probably be just fine. I ordered a pair of Moissanite earrings and somewhere during the shipment the package was slit and the case removed. I told HSN what happened and I was immediately credited...and it was $300 or so I think.
Would you buy a diamond online?
Again, I would from a reputable firm with a good return policy. You could have it appraised to verify your stone was what it was sold as. I know in the Jewelry market here in LA you have to be wary of buying diamonds there even in person, a bad scam there. If it's too good to be true, it probably is. I love the internet, and shopping online...cameras, PDA's...you name it!
i am playing mr blue sky - electric light orchestra - love this song and matches the mood i am in right now.. you?.
Dylan's "Hard Rain"
i have to admit, before i had my own i was jealous of everyone elses so i jumped on the wagon.. i am making them of all my friends and i love getting a glimpse of what ppl look like simpsonized.
its actually surprising how close you can get a character to look like someone!.
if you havent got one yet go to http://www.simpsonsmovie.com/.
Okay. I'm an idiot. How do I get my avatar here?
Sorry.
TIA

what about you?
Wow, I've bought everything. Books, travel, jewelry, supplements, household items, CD's, appliances, soda maker....lots and lots.
I've had no bad experiences. I've bought from e-bay and half.com. Only one purchase from half.com was bad, the CD was broken. The nice thing about e-bay and half is the feedback.
hello gang!
didn't think i'd let you off easy did you?
this one might really make us dig into our personal archives!
Aja....Steely Dan
Oh wow...that takes me back. I have it on vinyl. Great album.
hello ex-elders, onthe wayout, snakes, and wilyloman, just to refresh about a month ago i told you all that the appeal committee had overturned the disfellowshipping decision by the original jc as the appeal committee got a hold of me by phone and told me the society gave them direction in this.
i have since explained the situation to my witness mom and dad, 80 &82, they are good with it.
i am taking copies of the counsel you ex elders gave to me to be careful about what i say at this "alleged encouragement" meeting and promise you this, i'll watch my words carefully when they ask me questions.
All the best!
