Punishment
by Sasha ini believe i get punished or at least compensated for certain things.
for example, it seems any reward from god to me is followed by a punishment of some sort.
(ie: i finally get the disability i've been fighting for for 4 years and finnaly get it and my 6 year cat died) stuff like that...

New Stupid Assembly Rules
by WTWizard ini have heard on this discussion board numerous rules that apply to upcoming a$$emblies.
some are designed to stop people from meeting the opposite sex; others, to make sure everyone is always ready to recruit new members into the scam.
i heard that some km inserts have been urging those whose congregation has cleaning assignments to sit in the section that they are assigned to clean.

These rules were always in effect in my assemblies when I was in.

Has anyone noticed?
by DazedAndConfused ini was reading truthseeker's post's about the summer convention.
s/he kept saying that the convention this year is focused on jesus.. i have been watching and comparing what is being said here and the things presented by the botchtower babble society, both in the local meetings and the assemblies/conventions.
it seems to me, without actually looking up post's, that what is presented to the r&f follows what is challenged here in jwd by a week/month or two.. for a quick example, this particular convention is speaking about jesus.... a lot.

As an old friend of mine once said "These drugs should be given to terrorists" The side effects of these drugs are horrible. I'll just keep my Hep C. I have been taken MILK THISTLE for 35 years and it keeps my numbers low!!!! It works (Oh, and don't drink a lot of Alcohol)

Killing Bees
by Sasha inso this dumb woman calls up an exterminator to complain she has some bees in her yard and they come and kill them!!!!!
i have bees, i love my bees, they pollenate all my flowers 'cause i raise different kinds of butterflies.
is this woman mad?
-
Sasha
They are NOT killer bees and today there was another ariticle where they did the same thing somewhere else around Here (SOUTH FLORIDA). The key word here is Florida. You'll never find out. I e-mailed all the articles from these authors and it comes back no such person. They won't take you're messages about these atrocities. I'm betting they killed them. Fools.

How did you spend Sunday?
by Crumpet ini spent mine enjoying a traditional sunday romp in the rural idyll that is england, communing with nature.. this, for those who dont know, translates as getting lots of manure on my shoes, nodding politely at passing ramblers, edging away from the well endowed bull, walking for a couple of miles, limbo-dancing under electric fences, and then fighting for a table along with the countryside's finest and their dogs, tucking into a traditional sunday lunch and a pint, then walking it back off - wondering if i a) i just ate one of the bull's babies and b) if i did, can he smell it?!.

I live in Florida, so I'm a prisoner on my air conditioning. I did cut the hedges, garden, etc BEFORE 11am. I'm marrried to a man who spends his time watching science fiction TV, so....I have a good friend and in the Winter in Florida we do nothing but nature related things. Too hot now.

Some are pretty....and evoke a "religious" feeling in them...especially Catholics, who love all those statues, and stained glass and the Virgin mother, etc. Makes them feel holy.
