I believe in Creation from God, then things evolved due to climate, etc.

Bee Population
by onlycurious inhas anyone heard about the new scare about the decline in the bee population?.
i guess the bees are not returning to the queen bee and they are dying.
trying to figure out why this is happening but if it doesn't turn around, all of us will be 'starving' in 4 years.

I have already posted a thread about it. In 4 years food will be scarce. Einstein once said "once the bees are gone" man is finished. Coly Disorder. It's p[robably from pestisides, and global warming. Lets face it, animals are disappearing. Artic Ice is mealting 3 times more than projected (Just on news now).

I am certainly NOT impyling that the Witnesses are correct on much at all! Thank-you all for you're posts. I personally believe that God control the weather and a lot of trouble for us will come from the weather, for one thing..... I cannot get my mind around the rapture thing at all. I believe there has to be a reward of some kind for all who have died prematurely and people of good heart.

If I was baptized as an infant ...
by Frequent_Fader_Miles inif i was baptized into another faith as a baby, and never made concerted effort to cancel it ... does that nullify my jw baptism as an adult?

They must have been in a hurry. They do demand you write a letter. I refused. Of course, I was not baptised. Thank Goodness. I think (For me) to be baptised into whatever you want should happen when you are a adult. Ready to wipe out you're sins if believe in Christ and promise (REAL HARD) not repeat breaking of the 10 commandments! This is my theory, of course.

So, am I to asume, that the majority of people posting on this site, does NOT believe in the Bible and can actually not say, looking at the world in general, that something BIG is coming, eventually?

Who quit going to the meetings, came back later and now regretting it?
by RULES & REGULATIONS ini regret ever coming back to the meetings.
i was baptized when i was 13 years old due to pressure and being told that anyone not baptized would be destroyed when ''the end'' was coming in 1975. i later quit attending and felt a relief when the end didn't come.
the lies, too many meetings,be pounded to preach more and all their rules and regulations finally convinced me that i didn't belong there.. around the early 80's,i started up again.

Cannot go back. I'm not putting up with the hypocrasy of them pretending to be my friend ONLY when I'm associated with them. Plus, they change stuff around so often, makes me crazy!
