  Thing about the blood though, my aunt just died of septic shock from a transfusion. I know that since 83 they have been checking the blood but I found out through many hours of research, that all blood carries different bacteria's and well, I'm not saying not to go for it, but it kinda makes one think. Thousands of people die of septic shock now adays from blood transfusions.

  Been throught this before, here it is again:

  I questioned whether or not the governing body of the JW was all members of the annointed. They said "Oh yes" NOT!!!!

  In other words, that and some other lies, plus a feeling, I cannot quite discribe, came over me, like a panic attack and I knew it was (Not false) but NOT the chosen religion of the true God.

  at the end of the day, who really cares about jehovahs witnesses in the general population?

  they think they have this oh so special message & how important they are, when really nobody gives a toss.

  brother at our kh last night reveiwed the annual meeting.. nothing earth shattering but went on about how the gb was really being "transparent" and showing who they are and how they think.

  that they are people just like us!

  they have apparently been pondering the bs change for "years" in order to provide more time for the essential 'family study night" - so much for gas prices suddenly increasing.

  i have a question for the ex-jw's on this forum after months of reading the forum..... many say how good it is to be free of the oppressiveness of the jw's that they can now enjoy the freedom to... have sex, celebrate christmas, gamble, embrace politics etc.

  there are still biblical scriptures and principles in place that if you still followed the bible would mean you avoid these things and yet these are now embraced as one of the perks of no longer being a jw so in my confusion i ask.... if these are what you want, isn't it more correct to say you no longer follow the bible as apposed to just the jw's?.

  Well, here I thought to start a thread on this topic. (40 yrs. in and 3 out of JW) and here it is:

  Now, Mr. "Stillajwelder" My thoughts are since I was always taught in the "truth" that Bab. the great was basically the caltholic church, even though they said it was "all organized religion" it seems to me that Bab. the Great is the Stock Market (or the economy) and the references made in Rev.18: 9-20 don't seem to directed towards organized religion anymore to me. Yes, I still believe it is the beginning of the end....however believe it is decades away, or at least a decade.

  There are so many things to come and all comes so slowly that when I was 17 and first preached to (I am now almost 59) that I was told THAT time was the end. Yes, I gave up my life all those years, (college and such) and now have very little. Things move very slowly.

  Looks like the JW's were wrong about Bab. the great to me. Love, Glad to be out....Sasha in Florida
