  Please Don't Turn On The Gas!

  i've noticed that almost all new kingdom halls are without windows, even in neighborhoods that are quite safe and crime free.

  some have said it's because they do not want you looking out and daydreaming.

  others have said it slows down the two day quick build miracles by at least an hour.. my mother may have hit in on the head when she said, "when the time comes it will be easier for them to 'gas' you!.

  we watch the news, we read newspapers and stuff and we hear about nutters who are up to weird stuff.

  sometimes we read about/hear about cults.

  the society is obviously one.

  They cant see the forest for the trees. Confucious say when the student is ready the teacher will appear. For those who dont want out the cult is providing somehting in their sad lonely lifes. Friendship, meaning, purpose. Everyone in this world is not on the same page. Would you want them to be. If so go back to the organization or join the republican party.

  'Time', not a constant in the Universe!

  when i was a good ole jw, going out in service, counting my 'time', i noticed something strange.. i could drive to one side of the county, make a back-call, and then drive clear through town as slow as i could and then out of town to the other side of the county to make another back-call.

  the total time it took to do this was about 6 minutes.. if i was not out in service and was trying to rush, say to a movie, it took at least 45 minutes to get through town alone!

  what causes this phenomenon?.

  Brother pain in the ass wants to come and visit

  my wife told me she had been asked by a bother (elder type) in the congregation wanted to come by and visit me.

  i told her thats fine as long as he doesn't bring anyone else with him and its not just right after he is out in service as i don't want to be used to garner time.

  if he is really interested in being nice then come on by, but if not, not to waste his or my time by bringing someone else with him, if i don't know them they aren't welcome in my home, end of discussion.

  How much do you pay for your internet service?

  i had high speed cable internet for $53 a month with videotron and i just dropped it to their lowest cable speed for $29 a month.. now i can buy an extra case of beer a month .
