my eldest daughter is 17 this month...and we have discussed the 'pill'.

Yes...probably because the men here don't want some young dirty boy putting his dirty thing near his beloved daughter. Got it! LOLYes Beck, that's the reason. And I think it applies to 99% of the fathers! All the men have been boys as well and they can clearly remember what they wanted to do at that age!! (and not only that age;-))))Was I close? That's my daughter's father's reasoning. I don't know if it applies to every father...I'm just making an assumption. Anyone else? larc?

Before you make it yourself so difficult...have you talked about this with your daughter?? Perhaps she isnt even ready to have sex yet with her boyfriend!!!! And in that case you not need to worry so much!
If she is, I guess you have to trust her and dont forbid it, cause let's face it, if they want to do it, they can do it everywhere they like! I think for us mums it's kinda hard to accept that our ' little babies' become adult women!!!

Among hetro-men, I find that very few will admit that another guy is good looking. That is how afraid they are of the gay issue.You are so right. Ask a man what he thinks of another men and he will shrugg, but ask a woman what she thinks of another woman and she will tell you f.i. that she looks nice or is beautiful.But ofcourse women's minds are not occupied with sex all day!!;-)

I have found gay men to be pretty much like the rest of the population. Many very nice and caring people. And a few jerks.

A homosexual is not interested sexually in the opposite gender - period. I also state again that I think that bi-sexual people are the reason alot of people think that homosexuals can 'choose'. It just isn't so.
I fully agree with you Mimilly!! And when people read scientific magazines they'll find out that its in the genes, same as red hair, down sydrome, diabetics, etc.etc.
They simply cannot choose, as they are born that way. No one wakes up in the morning and thinks: hey, from today I wanna be gay!
Life is far from easy for them, it takes about 4-5 years for them to accept it.Most of them try the opposite sex when they are still in the denial phase. But for me it wouldnt make a difference, I would still love my child. To MHO love is unconditional, not linked to a sexual preference!
i got to thinking about this at work a couple of nights ago.. a news story said that the two jw's killed weren't (apparently) proselytizing in the phillipines, which is described as a heavily muslim nation.
though they were found with avon products, avon said the two were neither employees nor representatives.. now, why would two jw's be in a heavily muslim land, possibly pretending to be something they're not?
were they just lugging the stuff from place to place for someone as a favor?.

What is there to spy for a J.W. in a overall Muslim country? There are some catholics though, but they are a minority!
