Paul's "full gospel" did NOT mention 144,000...

from reflecting on what paul writes in his letters, it is obvious he had never taught anything like the wts doctrines concerning the little flock (144,000) or the slave class, or any other unique jw gospel concept.

yet he was clear that he was preaching the entire gospel everywhere.. i picked out the following verses (you can find more but these are the most obvious) to show that 1) paul said his authority for the gospel he preached was given by god; 2) that he preached the gospel fully; and that he condemned any person or angel who preached a different gospel.

have you ever noticed, then, that though paul clarified the gospel in all of his letters in a variety of ways, the odd doctrines of the jws/wts were never once mentioned by paul?

What do you think about gays and abortion now.......................?????

when you saw the wt for what it was and realized it was not the truth, how did that affect your thoughts on subjects like homosexuality or abortion for example.. did you start to think differently suddenly or did it take a long time ?.................or maybe you havent changed your minds on what the wt condemns.. i was quite shocked at how i accepted my teenage son was sexually active and i talked to him about condoms and this being an important thing in his and gfs life and where they sure they were ready.

i didnt tell him not to do it !.

actually i think i always had my thoughts on different subjects that werent in line with the org, i just pushed what i really thought to the back of my mind.. there are many different subjects name one that you relate to.. .

I have not read any of the other post yet. I have a hard time with Gay's I know a few and will even go have a drink at a bar with Gay friends of the same sex as me, but I feel uncomfortable with them. I do not feel uncomfortable that other people see me with them it is something inside of me. As regards abortion I feel it is wrong unless the baby can not be born alive then and only then do I feel it is OK.

CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE HERE?

last night i was at a friends house (ex-witnesses).

they faded several years ago, much to her parents and her children's annoyance.

her parents live out west but were coming to toronto for a visit.

Make me mad ever time I hear this. I realize they do it to more than my family. My kids have done nothing but yet my pompous ass brother treats them as if they left.

What not to say?

okay, as most of you know from my other posts im trying to reach someone who is a jw.

well, i was wondering if there were things that non-witnesses said to you that kept you from listening to them.

are there things i should be sure not to say while witnessing?.

To give an example I was in a Judicial meeting this is a meeting were three Elders decide your fate as to whether or not they will excommunicate you. I handed the Elder that is now a CO a copy of the Guardian Newspaper, he let it fall on the ground and said he would not touch that apostate article. Think about that, an article from the Guardian Newsppaper? Wow the HELL could that be apostate? They think the devil is literally in anything that goes against them and he will literally jump out of the information and possess their thinking.

Don't say I was reading on the Internet. A true witness is programed not to listen to any information not in support of their beliefs. I have been able to get most of my friend out of the BORG by getting them to go over a letter I call my blood letter. Many were Elders and Ministerial Servants. This letter only deals with the bible and Watchtower publications. A Witnesses can't stand not to discuss the blood issue when you tell them you want to know from the bible if it is correct. They think they are correct from the bible.

This works big time I have had three Circuit Overseers go over this with me and all three said I was correct but I needed to wait on Jehovah to change it. Many Elders, all said I was correct. This letter takes you from the start of blood in the bible and analyzes it leaving everyone that looks into it knowing the truth about blood. Then having to stand back wondering how in the world did the Society get this idea in the first place.

Finally Got It

i had gone to walmart to get a new pair of shoes and when i was comming down the street to my house i saw a car pull up the street above my house and just had a feeling it was the jws.

my grandson was in the house and didn't answer the door but they left the religion tract behind the door.. i guess the end is nearer now that i got the tract but all religion has ended for me anyway.. ken p..
