  Further incite on Dawkin's The God Delusion

  i started a thread after i finished the first chapter of this book entitled something like, i'm an atheist.

  i finished chapter three and i have to backtrack a bit, but i also feel the need to explain why since i was so vocal.. first, let me say that i think everyon should read the first two chapters of the god delusion by richard dawkins.

  he brings up some very important points about religion and about science's place in our world.

  He has no PROOF either. I was reading just today that 70% of the universe is made up of some unknown matter that we can not seeor understand. So when you say there is no proof, you have no proof they are deceiving themselveseither. But yet we know 70% of the universe is unknown but it is ther. Be opened minded because we do not have all the answers yet. We may never have all of them.

  I'll give you an example my wife woke me up one morning and told me my nephew was going to be killed by someone that will put a gun in his mouth and shooting him. She was hysterical, I did not believe her. She demanded I tell him. I said the same thing that Hawkings would of said to her. That all Bull shit you could not know this. That very day five hours later he was murdered by his best friend. The friend put a gun in his mouth and said do you trust me? My nephew said yes I do and then pulled to trigger. This is the truth, my wife has done this over and over again. She woke up one morning and said my niece was going to be killed that weekend by a drunk driver. It happened that weekend just like she said. So the 70% of the universe might be the reason she can do this.

  Don't be so closed minded nothing gets in there.

  Prince and Lindsay Lohan Partying?

  just finished reading an article in the morning newspaper about lindsay lohan cheking herself into the wonderland centre for drug and alchohol rehab.. it is sad to see such a beautiful young person getting to need such services with so much of her life ahead.. but the part of the report that made me sit up and think was this, i quote........ "ms lohan was in hospital on january 3 for appendicitis but was seen out partying a couple of hours after she was discharged.. since, she has been seen out almost every night and on monday she attended prince's post golden-globes bash at the beverley wilshire hotel.

  a fellow party goer said she obviously was the worse for wear.".

  well i'm spewing over this and here are my questions then....... if prince is a jw what the hell is he doing organising a large function without the elders approval?.

  misanthropic's puppy pics reminded me of a picture i had of our cat chillin' in a sink.

  it's ironic in that she is extremely afraid of water - even little drops that splash on her.

  he's 7 weeks old, he's a chocolate lab and i named him tony.

  his eye isn't messed up it just looks that way because i was trying to get his face to look forward while i pushed the button all at once.

  he kept me up all night last night crying, but hopefully just like with my beagle he will outgrow that.

  I am not unclear on any of this. Dawkins is closed minded and closed minded people only hear what they want. Like for example Dawkins in his book talks about why religion evolved/ He never even considered that we might be in the process of proving it is of no value to humans showing that religion is harmful. So some day down the road we will evolve to the point religion is not needed at all.

  another Ex; in his book he says any person that has an experience such as hearing voices in a room and that person jumps to the conculsion the supernatural did it is somehow dumb. How can he make the claim the person has deceived his mind. There are many variables that come into play but Hawkins dismisses any personal accounts as mind play. Not very scientific he does not know if life takes different forms maybe we share this world with other life forms. Somethings in this world have yet to be discovered, look at life that lives in solid rocks only a few years ago we did not know this. Life that lives on the bottom of the ocean around volcanic vents. He demises things he does not understand into a reality that makes sense to him, he is closed minded. His God is science.

  The answer from the legel department was it is not true.

  The legal department runs the Watchtower now everthing is supost to go through it first. The Governing Body only can do what the Legel lets them do. This department has a brain and no doubt can see the stupidity in saying this.

  First off I liked his book. I do not believe the bible at all. It is just a book.

  He jumps to conclusions that have not yet been proven one way or the other yet the only difference he is willing to admit they are just ideas that make sense at this time. So he admits with science we need to investigate the known facts and if we find out if it is wrong then change. He forgets then to admit it is just a theory. A theory is an idea not yet proven.

  Yet he slams every religionist as stupid closed minded towards facts. He is blinded against any religion as much as the religionist are towards him. No give and his part at all.

  Same arrogance I see in religionist I see in Dawkins.

  The only thing I think like Dawkins does. Good Book

  question, if everyone who professes to be christian are going to heaven to rule as priest with jesus, who will be our subjects on earth?

  can someone pleasee shed some light on this subject..

  You posted while as was responding. So you believe only the bible my hunch was correct. Are you to scared to find out about the GOD MEN? The stories are real, no doubt these GOD Men never lived. But they were Christ's just as real to those followers of their faith as Jesus is too you. You can not disregard these stories just because the bible does not mention them, no more than you can say that America does not exist because the bible did not mention it. Remember Paul said he preached to the whole inhabited earth and all the earth went to Pharo for grain. But yet America and Australia existed. Despite this.

  I see your mind is closed. Paul would never of said 'Third Heaven' a concept that was totally different than yours. He was preaching to people that know already what the third heaven was. Much like how you assume the third Heaven is a concept the way you have been taught it is. A very narrow way of thinking.

  You need to study what the real history is of the first century or you too scared to find out? Until you sweep away the old chains that binds you, you will never know the truth. Like Job's thinking he was going to live as a Ghost on earth with God. He was wrong or was he?

  Also just to open your mind will you at least post one more time and tell me what you think is going on with the God men 'Christ's' that the Pagan's religions wrote about long before Jesus.
