  Biggest problem I see is we all have different beliefs nows, some have found true Christanity, others are now atheist, some left because of sexual matters. Not everyone here was a Witness, many have jw family or mates.

  I heard about the Best Buy from Bill O'Reily, but on the web, Best Buy denied it. It really would not make good business sense, Best Buy is a major sponsor of 'Toys For Teens', a spinoff of "toys For Tots'

  JW view of Worship is the problem

  in some private discussions with ex-jws over the years, i have boiled down some of the disagreements to a different view of what worship is or is not.

  this view often unwittingly affects ex-jws, and underpins their arguments, even though they do not realize it.. to a jw, worship of jehovah is done by going out door-to-door, attending meetings, commenting, singing, and prayer.

  these are acts only done to and for jehovah.. to a protestant, going door-to-door is nice, vene being at church is nice, but not worship.

  I'm attending a church that places importance on praise and worship. They consider music, dance, prayer, offerings, bible reading, and 'activly' listening are all worship.

  The jws taught me field. service, meeting attendence, personal study, kingdom songs,and prayer were worship. The kh appears very dull compared to the full gospel church I attend now .

  We helped with the local 'Toys For Tots' (took applications, set up distribution, and helped parents pick the toys) over 1000 kids were given 6 toys each,

  i remember when i was new in the "troof", i was walking in a mall and a jw window washer saw me, and asked, "what are you doing here"?.

  yeah, he had a good reason to be at the mall, cause he was washing windows, but i had no business there.... i guess he thought that i was being seduced by material stuff.... and i was stupid enough, not to tell him, mind your own business fu**er....
